  1. The main goal is to get public schools back in the map because it has appeared that private schools is where it’s at. Bump that Dillard high let’s get it.
  2. @DarterBlue2 @Jullian @VeniceIndiansFootball @LakelandGator @561_Fan
  3. Cardinal Newman 2025 QB Davi Belfort @DaviBelfort transfers to Dillard Belfort (6’ 185) is nationally ranked & a P5 QB prospect. His first HS campaign finished with 2016 YD & 28 TD & consistently showcasing he was one of the QB in Palm Beach. He holds 6 early offers. Let’s Go panthers!! Let’s put public schools back on the map in broward county!!
  4. But that’s what’s sad broward county use to be a proud public school county. And these same private schools had to go through teams like Dillard. gibbons, heritage, & etc wasn’t just built. Look at AHP they wasn’t anything and didn’t win their first title until what 2014-2015 ? And gibbons first championship came in what 2017. 2018? it’s just sad that players use to have PRIDE playing & bringing continued success to their home school regardless if they was a star or not. back in the day players didn’t want to join the best they wanted to beat the hell out the best. Matter fact back in the 90s schools like STA & Etc was looked at as that’s where the privilege folks went. Back then broward county had COMMUNITY! especially in the African American neighborhoods. in todays world I guess quick success and guaranteed full ride scholarships will make any player turn their backs. @DarterBlue2 @VeniceIndiansFootball @Nulli Secundus
  5. SMH & the rich gets richer, Not only do these players transfer like crazy but they all go over crowd at these private schools in ft Lauderdale ; basically saying our public schools are ASS & We have nothing to offer. But yet we wonder why the only 3 schools that represented broward in the state championship games are all private schools. We wonder why the public schools in broward can’t beat the publics from Miami, & that’s because Miami knows how to keep their players home where as broward county it’s sad to say that the private schools run the 954 & it didn’t use to be like that.
  6. I respect that you a ride or die dade county cat, but I hear a A WHOLE LOT of homerism in ya voice. Let’s be CLEAR Miami central did NOT lose in 5 over times to St. John bosco this year it was 28-0 before Miami central had a chance to pass gas & it ended 35-12. secondly Miami central wasn’t ighh until what 2011-2012 when they won their VERY FIRST football title ? Miami central wasn’t hitting on nothing until they started getting heavy transfers in. same with the west you talk about national championships & this & that ; lol hahaha my boy on them teams the west had folk on they team from broward dade to west palm tighten up the west have always recruited & always will nothing you can do about it now. Beat em or shut up (which is what jesuit did BEAT EM) Lol iDGAF if this was they best team ever or not. you folks from dade be so quick to talk about RESPECT but yet y’all DISRESPECT anybody behind or ahead of y’all, EVEN IF!! they’re a worthy opponent, but that’s always been y’all thing, y’all always been disrespectful at the mouth wether y’all win or lose but ESPECIALLY when y’all winning, & when y’all lose it’s the REFS & The coaches fault then y’all get them fired SMH! but with that said I’m not about to debate wit you bout to county or yo opinion, y’all have a lot of great schools & have a lot to be proud of as a community but real talk y’all need to HUMBLE y’all selves & not have a million excuses when a team finally do shut dem lips up from time to time.
  7. They recruit And get dozens of transfers and feel they’re invincible. And to their credit a lot of years in their specific classifications they have especially vs teams in south fl. but when they have went up against out of state competition that’s just as talented but have better coaching the lose more then they win those matchups then they come back to Florida and dominate , what does that tell you? You can beat up locally but nationally ? MNW- they get blasted by iMG everytime they play , they go to Ga get blasted by lowndes Miami central get blasted by St. John’s , they lose to bishop Gorman, they went to Grayson and got blasted 35-3 , I get it they’re not afraid to travel and play out of state opponents for exposure and etc. but at the end of the day facts are facts SOUTH FL lacks competent coaching. Are players are big and tall, but they lack intangibles In the trenches & most times are not even well conditioned.
  8. I’ve seen jesuit twice & they’re just that good!! it was 14-14 with Miami central vs baker county I get it dade teams are a second half team etc etc but Jesuit would have been up by 14+ at that point. south fl we have speed & talent but keeping real our coaching down here is below avg but we get by until we go out of state or play against a team in north Florida who has talent & coaching aka (jesuit)
  9. Tbh I think that if it was the rockets facing jesuit, jesuit would have still won iMO. one big thing I’ve noticed about our OL & DL down here is that they’re (SOFT) they’re huge & Big! But they have no TRUE technique, & it shows everytime a solid to great school with great coaching plays a team from down south in FL. Sometimes you may be able to get away with just having speed & talent (Miami central vs baker) or against most local teams, but at some point we have to look at the LEVEL of coaching we have down here in south FL. do these guys really know and understand the game ? Do they really know how to make adjustments & decipher game film to put their team in the best position to win ? Do our O Line & D line Coaches down here teach these lineman to not only be big & tall , BUT STOUT, & smart ? Nothing is more em so then having a huge line but they’re impact vs good to great teams is none existing. i get it jesuit is a private school but watching them or even watching them schools up ga, north in Cali and dc & etc, they’re offensive play calling is a thing of beauty it makes ours down here look like it was drawn up in dirt.
  10. I thought that was a ice cream lol hahahahahaha
  11. Bofl lol omg hahahaha lol the last part got me in tears man lol
  12. I mean y’all said for these schools to toughen up the schedule lol hahahaha
  13. Wow! Just wow didn’t see this coming , the tigers crowd talking mad trash , they yelling “it’s gone b a long ride down alligator alley back to dade” lol hahaha whewwww talk yall trash jesuit. when I see games like this it really take me back to what I’ve been saying COACHING, solid competent coaching is so vital. so much was said about Miami northwestern talent & their speed & how Jesuit was gonna be overwhelmed & yet it’s the tigers overwhelming the bulls. why because of coaching , then boys in Tampa are well coached to the “T” & their O-LINE & D-LINE are fit, disciplined & understands their assignment. down here in south Florida we praise speed, size & athleticism but it’s our COACHING that needs to be evaluated, our o line play down here is suspect especially vs teams who actually is well coached. All I can say is CONGRATS TIGERS! You wasn’t intimidated by the Miami mystic & the bright lights.
  14. While I agree with most of what you’re saying and you know we’re cool bro, but until Miami central beats iMG academy I don’t think they can call themselves the king of Florida.
  15. I agree and disagree look at like this look at killian they stole have of Hallandale team to the point Hallandale was so effected they almost had to cancel their entire season (major respect to those that stayed and touched it out and remained loyal.) but when it all boiled down to it Still could not beat nationally ranked Miami central, killian had the players but it also appears they didn’t have that (iT) factor I mentioned the other day. you can have 6’5 6’3 players in the trenches but if they’re soft as baby tissue they won’t withstand when you go against a team that has str8 dawgs in the trenches. Which is where most games are won and lost. you have very few coaches at our schools in south Florida that knows how to elevate their coaching come playoff time, just like you have very few teams who knows how to elevate their play come playoff time. Which also how you can have teams steamroll the regular season then the moment they meet a team in the playoffs that’s been there and done that they lose.
  16. I agree, but what I don’t think dade county fans understand is they disrespect nor take serious any team that don’t go out the state and play the type of schedule they play. which goes unsaid is the reason they’re able to play the type of schedule they do is because of the way they recruit and the amount of transfers they get. i firmly agree that if recruiting was strictly penalized & each school had to play with the kids that was verified to live in that zone you wouldn’t see these super teams & teams that load up their roster by stealing other schools best players. but since that’s not the case you have about 4-6 nationally ranked schools in Florida then the rest are good to very good teams praying that hopefully one year will be their year. yes playing tough teams help you see what’s to come in the playoffs depending on class, but all jokes aside if your roster nor coaching staff is not built to go toe to toe with a national powerhouse that’s standing in your way you’re going to be in trouble.
  17. Over the last week or so this topic has been on my mind, then recently I was tuning into the Miami central vs Killian game. & a lot of Miami central fans was downing killian record & success saying “THEY HAVENT PLAYED ANYONE” & the fans of MNW & MC teams to say they that about their opposition a lot “THEY HAVENT PLAYED NOBODY” which brings me to these questions #1. what teams fit under the umbrella as (SOMEBODY) must they be nationally ranked ?? #2 does playing a nationally ranked schedule automatically prepares you for a deep playoff run ? because in my opinion you have to first have a state title caliber team & coaching staff before you can even think about a state title let alone playing national powerhouses. so as I see the fans from Miami that support the likes of Miami central & Miami northwestern it’s kind of easy for them to play national powerhouses when they recruit the team they have year in & year out. Poaching from little leagues & countless high schools, not hating just calling it for what it is. you can schedule all the tough teams you want but if your roster hasn’t been recruited or full of transfers to allow you to go toe to toe with another team in the playoffs that does the same, you will come out on the losing end more times then not. @Jullian @DarterBlue2 @VeniceIndiansFootball
  18. Tbh it would be challenges in any class unless we were in 2A So to me to it wouldn’t matter where we’re at we just need to be READY! wether it’s STA,MC,MNW,homestead whoever Period I don’t want us ducking nobody!! That’s not the DILLARD HIGH DNA.
  19. Thanks bro, we will be ready to run it back next year and if it’s homestead again so be it let’s line it up, but I believe I heard somewhere this district alignment was only for one year ?
  20. They didn’t try anything new to get him open they went with their same game plan as usus, then 85 percent of the time our Qb was getting sacked. and when he or the other WR was wide open they dropped the balls every time as the crowd continue to yell DRY OFF THE BALLS for the players, Dillard struggled on offense all night because of it. which is a trend because in 2019 vs Miami central in the third round it rained all night and our offense struggled all night and lost 35-0 in 2017 we faced carol city in the 1st round it rained all night long and our offense struggled all night long and we lost 21-0 to the chiefs. you can tell homestead knew they had a disadvantage in the trenches so they counteracted that by running plays that would be effective, Qb options, pulling the offense right as of your running but yet you’re throwing it 30 yards over the top of the defense. where as in our offense your on 2 & 10 and you’re throwing to the flat behind the sticks which gets blew up in the back field smh. if this was a dry field on a dry night I believe that pack 6 would’ve been caught and a lot of more open passes that would’ve led to points would’ve been caught. But none of that should be used an excuse and won’t be coming from me because Dillard should know playing in south Florida what time it is especially this time of year & should’ve came in prepared, they wasn’t and homestead did what they were suppose to as a #2 seed in front of their home fans.
  21. Thanks bro this one is gonna sting for a while, but hey we will be back next year & hopefully better in all aspects. But win lose or draw I’m rocking with my panthers.
  22. I picked central to win 34-24, but aye just want to say congrats to all of the Miami dade teams that moved on to the next round. MNW,MC,HOMESTEAD,KILLIAN,COLUMBUS,PALMETTO, champgnat, Gulliver prep. no matter what happens in the regular season, when playoff time hit one thing I can say y’all boys from dade just seem to always tap into that “iT FACTOR” & sadly that’s something you can’t coach. broward county - most of our schools, have very talented teams which transfers to nice regular season records but when it comes to the playoffs & they have to face a team from dade, it’s always dade taking it to another level that teams from broward struggle to get to. & it’s not like both counties, don’t have gangs, hoods, poverties, low income families, players trying to make it out of a tough environment, but yet when it’s all said & done it’s the dade schools that prevail. we get on dade a lot because of their trash talk & disrespect of broward county including me cuz I can’t stand it but they talk like that because they know year after year they have backed it up, nonetheless congrats to dade county as a whole if y’all don’t know how to do anything else y’all know how to win & play championship football.
  23. As far as last night, I’m never the type of dude to tuck my head & hide after any defeat. last night Dillard sh** the bed, the O-line issues came back to hunt Dillard at the most important time our Qb is like 5’7 170 pounds soak & wet & got up ate up most of the night against a homestead D line who was much smaller then Dillards. our offensive play calling was nothing to write home about at all, as there was no wrinkles, no tricks, no nothing, which allowed homestead to stay with their game plan. in didn’t help that no matter who the playoff opponent is it seems whenever we’re in the playoffs & it rains like it seem to always do, our players seem to forget ball control, they don’t know how to catch a wet ball & what makes it worst the weather forecast let it be known days in advance it will be raining so where was the preparation for that ? Where was the ball boys on the sideline keeping the balls dry.?? penalties, again & again Dillard shot themselves in the foot last night, & make no mistake they made these same mistakes vs other schools but our talent was so far better we got away with it. I mean the amount of penalties that gave homestead a free first down on third down was sickening. Missed chances: Dillard had a 1st and goal at homestead 4 in the 1st Qt & they sent penalty, loss of yardage, penalty, no gain,no gain, turn over on downs. dropped pick 6- it was still 0-0 and the homestead misread the coverage & through it right to our guy all he had to do was catch it & run 20 yards touchdown Dillard, instead he couldn’t catch the wet ball. Uncontested catches in the rain- we dropped all of them it was actually insane how they looked completely inept to rainy weather & we’re from south Florida. qb option- u would think after dealing with plantation & watching film on homestead the coaching staff would have prepared for all the option & misdirection homestead would run especially after seeing on film we struggled with it. instead DILLARD had no answer & all homestead had to do which was so it better then plantation & out of diff formations & they did & it killed dillard over the top on a few plays which ultimately decided the game. talking to the coaches they were so confident they were gonna beat homestead & that we were getting our rematch & look it didn’t even happen, I would hate to think that was the players mindset as well, but looking at dillard last night vs homestead, homestead looked more desperate & hungry smh. all In all this one hurts & it hurts bad, we deserve all the trash talk & I told you so & etc etc, but one thing bout it ima always ride for them boys off 27th & 11th, Next Year We Will Try Again.
