Horrible. It’s a cash grab. The FHSAA get a cut of every playoff game. So more classes means more games means more money. It’s always about money in the end. It’s never about student athletes

Same thing with Jones. 5 years from 2011-2015 they have multiple coaches go 23-36 and don’t compete for nothing. SSAC here we come right?? WRONG!!!!! Let’s make an impact hire! Elijah Williams come on down. Instantly 1st year he goes 9-2. And he’s gone 82-19 since he was hired and they a threat every year. No crying. No complaining. Do better.

There’s no excuse. Take Edgewater for example. From 2012-2016 (5 years) they had 5 different coaches and went a combined 19-35 including an 0-10 disaster in 2016. They are in shambles. They look like Colonial and University. They should go independent and blame everyone else for their problems or………. Keep grinding and make a big time hire!! Cameron Duke came and changed the whole culture! Attracted talent and turned them into a state power! Since 2017 they have gone 75-14 including 2 championship appearances. You gotta be committed to getting guys to lead the program who know how to attract talent and restore a winning culture.

I love this. These teams had ZERO chance at a title anyways. Doesn’t matter the system. Hell they might not have won the SSAC title. Lol. I say trim the fat and get rid of all the teams that can’t compete and take up space. More major counties need to do this.

First year program Specially Fit Academy played 4 games in a 14 day span going 1-3 10/27 vs St Frances Academy,MD 10/30 vs Leesburg 11/3 vs Jax TC 11/9 vs Life Christian,VA

Issue is how to figure how a team is eligible for the open division. I say at least 5 football transfers in one season.

It said he has over 6000 yards and 70 touchdowns and he’s only a freshman. I assume this includes 8th grade stats. Does anyone know his freshman stats? Because the state and I believe the national record books don’t count your 8th grade year for varsity statistics. Only 9th-12th grade.

The impressive thing about the run is they are doing it at a time where they have to split all the talent with all the other private schools and better public schools in the county

Yes I think it’s pretty cool that Columbus has played 4 out of state games in their history and all 4 times the team won the state championship in their state. and Columbus went 3-1 against them
