Yeah STA killed them in the playoffs. Upsets do happen but they are so rare it’s not logical to just randomly predict it because you will keep being wrong over and over until the one time you are right. Kinda like those people who film themselves making impossible basketball shots. They probably took 200 shots before one went in. Lol. Last year Bosco from New Jersey beat their arch rival Bergen Catholic 31-7 in the regular season, and in the state championship game for all the marbles Bergen Catholic destroyed them 45-0. Point is things can unravel and everything go wrong in one game and it not be indicative of how good each team is down the road

Yes do nothing. Went 20-14 playing mostly bad teams, and never got past the 2nd round. The problem I noticed on local message boards is a lot of people are delusional. Everything has to be so great and nothing can be criticized or you’re being mean. You have to detach your emotions when discussing reality. Get out of fantasy land. Be truthful even if it doesn’t feel good to.

Random meaning some team who has no history of playoff success. One good year in the last 2 decades. They don’t have a culture of success. That’s a random team.

I’m not climbing onto anything. I’m saying these teams like Plant and Gaither are not elite and what you would expect from a large class semi final team from a power state. They are only where they are because the watered down playoff system. Remember just liking a team doesn’t make them better.

Crazy that Darlington can wreck shop for Apopka for years, then go to Alabama and do nothing, then come back to Florida and take some random team and turn them into a title contender overnight.

Hillsborough providing cannon fodder to the South Florida schools. Plant and Gaither are not state semi final teams in any other bracket other than what the FHSAA forces everyone to endure. Running clocks should not be happening in a large class state semi final. So anti-climatic

Trinity Catholic is 4-7 right now. There record says 5-7 but they got a forfeit win for a game they never played. So they are 4-7. So they can actually win a state championship and finish under .500 at 6-7. That is so embarrassingly pathetic, that there are no words in the English dictionary to justify it. @Joshua Wilson I need you to politic on everyone’s behalf to the FHSAA to make changes and consolidate the classes by at least 1 or 2.

Mandarin is having a similar year to the one when they lost a ton in the regular season but then turned it on in the playoffs with Carson Beck. Not sure if they have another Beck though.
