  1. Great season overall. Looks like your last game could end up as a loss to the 6A state champions. Osceola beat Armwood in every phase of the game. Durant has nothing to be ashamed of. Disappointed in Armwood. TBT gave Lakeland all it could. Disappointed as Hillsborough had 3-4 state title teams potential. Jesuit fell hard this year and Berkeley Prep never gained any tread. I thought those two along with Armwood and TBT could at least make the semis
  2. Armwoods identity is based around Pringle. Osceola basically shut him down. Armwoods QB went 19-30 230+yds but like you said, nothing explosive. Osceola did a great job of dragging Armwood into the mud. I don’t know the stats but from watching it, it seemed like the Kowboys had twice as much possession as Armwood. The second half you could feel the pressure Armwood felt like they needed to score every possession. Football is a simple sport. No matter how much it evolves, line play wins. Osceola won both sides of the trenches. Now go beat Bucholtz!
  3. Congrats on the win! If you didn’t know the name of the teams, you would 100% have thought Osceola was the favorite and Armwood the dogs. This wasn’t a fluky win with turnovers and blocked punts etc. Osceola basically dominated from start to finish. Armwood play calling was atrocious. First half alone, Osceola had four 4th down stops. The WR fumble in the second half killed Armwood, but honestly, I’m not even sure if that would have mattered. Armwood has some huge lineman, but they weren’t as tough physically as the Kowboys. They deserved the win, and now the 6A favorites are gone. This class is wide open now
  4. You are correct. Lakeland pulls of the win over TBT in maybe the game of the week. What a wild finish
  5. Osceola with the huge upset. 17-7 over Armwood. Wow. Shocked. Three different 4th down stops in the first half really made the difference. No points in the red zone for Armwood all game.
  6. Well how bout that?!? Heritage killing themselves or is Dillard just playing balls out? Good for them!
  7. And the Plant punt return was muffed, picked up at the 4yd line, and ran it back. Pringle scored in an 8yd run to tie it at 7
  8. Tight game right now. 7-7 game 2 minutes to half. Sloppy all around. Tons of penalties. Both teams are playing to not make a mistake, which is leading to tons of mistakes. Plant scored on a 96yd point return. Not getting anything going on offense. Through 6 quarters against Armwood, the offense has not scored a point.
  9. 30hrs until kickoff. Cool weather, should be a packed house. I’ll be at Lyle Flagg for the game. On3 just updated their rankings for Florida. Armwood RB #1 RB in Florida (5th best in country) and Plant has #3 RB in Florida. Huge gap between the two nationally but if your in to the rankings it adds a little fuel to the fire. I stick with my 31-21 Armwood win.
  10. I’ve got a brilliant idea! Have a tournament of all the teams that had wins taken away and have it broadcasted on ESPN 8 The Ocho….. Gaither Central NW Norland TFA Western I’m sure I am missing some. That’s a solid bracket right there!!
  11. 100% agree on that!
  12. The bizarre thing is transfers are basically open season, but having a player who is ineligible due to age is wild. We shall see what happens next…..
  13. In all seriousness, this is just another step closer to the destruction of the FHSAA. Sure, it will always exist, not every school will break apart. However, the FHSAA right or wrong, has hit the big boys of the state. If Central, NW, AFA, etc accept their fate and correct moving forward, then all is well. If they do not, and decide to take a different route, the FHSAA will lose two of their biggest national brands. How many other schools will follow? I just don’t see Central and NW going down without a fight. Once lawsuits hit, it could get messy.
  14. Probably a Bishop Sycamore transfer
  15. So shocked ….this has been going on for years. Let’s see what kind of pull Bridgewater has. But if the FHSAA busted Central, then they have the brass to bust NW. Its ironic the year states championships are hosted in Miami, there may not be any Miami teams left
