Agree 100 percent. Been saying it for years. More classes means more playoff games means more gate money for the FHSAA. They don’t give a shit about student athletes or coaches. Every choice they make it always money first. We should have no more than 6 classes with large districts of teams all around each other. Ease on travel, all the games mean more, much more competitive playoff and champ games. But less money for the FHSAA so no dice!!!!!

Cocoa will steamroll and then you will hear crying for a 10th, 11th and 12th classification. Pretty soon each team will win their own state championship. Just suit up and the award is yours. You can order your ring when you order your fall practice gear

Besides maxpreps, where can I get access to Florida high school football schedules for the 2023 season? It’s always like this. Mid July, season starts in a month and the schedules are nowhere to be found. Georgia has almost as many teams as we do and they listed every single one in their state site back in April. The FHSAA is chapter 1 verse 1 series 1 in a book about incompetence

NMB is embarrassing garbage. I don’t want to bash the kids, it’s not them. The coach loves to take his team out of state and get embarrassed. It wouldn’t be so bad if they competed but they are a glorified JV team. The coach must have plenty of damaging evidence against some higher ups because he should have been canned about 15 years ago!

The funny thing is people only care about athletic transfers. No one cares about the 5 star Tuba player who moved into the school with the better band program. No one bats an eye when a child prodigy moves from a random school to a more academically rigorous one. Point is an athlete and their family wants what’s best for them. If transferring to a power means more exposure, better comp etc then who are we to judge? And if you believe a team is recruiting then send your proof to the FHSAA. And if not then who are you/we to judge what a family does for their kid?

Starkey Ranch is gonna have to create a high school to relieve Sunlake and River Ridge. They already built a K-8, so now it’s time for a HS. What’s crazy is before last year a slew of Land O Lakes players and some coaches transferred to Sunlake. Everyone thought it was gonna be a role reversal. But it was the opposite. LOL went 9-1 in the regular season and Sunlake went 1-9. Too funny to all the players and coaches who transferred. I guess karma caught up with them.

So if you look at Aubrey Rogers schedule, there are 2 teams that you probably never heard of. Dr Joaquin Garcia, which according to @Joshua Wilson they will be the newest Palm Beach County public in about 20 years. And Specially Fit Academy not too sure about their validity or if they are a fly by night or not
