    • Vero should be very solid this year, the offense has more experience this season as they started several true freshman last year, the defense lost some talent so that will be the question mark heading into the offseason.   I see them being as good as the team that lost in the 3rd round, probably a little better to be honest. The hopes are high considering the talent that is coming back, and has already transferred in, do they have state championship level talent? No, but hopes are high. I do not see them starting 0-3 like least season though. Vero QB Champ Monds went into those games last year as a true freshman who had never played a game at the high school level, now has a year under his belt, and holds 20+ offers as a rising sophomore. He has the potential to be one of the top QB’s in the country by the time he’s a senior, the question for Vero is can they keep him here. IMG has made a run at a lot of the higher profile talent in the treasure coast area the last several years.
    • I think those first 3 games should tell us a lot about Vero.  They should beat Eau Gallie but it won’t be easy.  Traveling to Buchholz should be a challenge.  Buchholz’s defensive front is the strength of the team.  Vero’s passing attack better be clicking because the Bobcats will be tough to run on.  Also, Vero’s OT’s better have a good game because Buchholz’s Edge rushers will cut the QB in half.  Cocoa is Cocoa but Brady Hart and some of their offensive stars graduated.  Freak show  DE Javion Wilson will not be wrecking shop either.  Has Cocoa come close to replacing them?  That I don’t know.
    • Solid schedule and how do you see Vero Beach play out this season.

    • I'd guess this explains part of it. Click on the individual states to get teacher salaries and rankings. It's pretty depressing. https://www.nea.org/resource-library/educator-pay-and-student-spending-how-does-your-state-rank?utm_medium=paid-search&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=rankings-estimates-report&utm_content=&ms=ads-rankings-estimates-report-se&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=19606909831&gbraid=0AAAAAohHV9T4t3MJL2SvfUhgHNm6KzG2g&gclid=CjwKCAjw9uPCBhATEiwABHN9K6-kk_eZz3o8WH_0p68I2GXbK5-RwK51yIjeHCv92OGUIqWevw3gNRoCszQQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds In addition, and again speculation on my part, but if you go to games around the state of Florida, and go to games in other southern states, the attendance numbers are in another universe. Way more often than not, the attendance for games here will be a thousand or less. Are Florida coaches required to teach a class and receive a stipend for their coaching duties? Do they receive money from booster clubs?
