You’re right. Most people don’t follow HSFB enough to know 99.9 percent of the teams. So if they came back and said they beat a Florida team, they are gonna brag no matter how horrible the FL team and how great they end up being.    Because it doesn’t matter what state you are from as long as the opponent is bad enough. The 560th ranked FL team is gonna lose to teams from Alaska, Vermont, Montana etc etc.  Colorado is the top state that seeks out the worst teams they can find. Georgia and Colorado are probably 1/2 in actively seeking out the worst possible opponents 

Aye these teams out of state are tired of hearing about how we got the most speed down here, the best athletic talent, the best players, so when they do come down here they probably feel like because of our speed alone any fl team would be favored over a team from out of town lol. (Crazy thinking I know). Hell for all we know pine creek probably dont receive alot of respect in Colorado so them making the long trip to south florida and getting a win would be "bragging rights" for their city, hell none of them people know about our teams down here so they wouldnt know the difference lmao lol

Western was ranked 3,556th nationally and Pine Creek was ranked 859th.    Now I know national rankings aren’t the gospel, but that’s about 2,700 different. So even know it’s not an exact science, that’s such a discrepancy that there’s no way Pine Creek should lose to such an inferior opponent.    and the worst part was the clown coach from Pine Creek was talking yesterday about shocking the world. Lol. Why, because you can beat a 7 loss team that’s 2,700 spots lower than you? Lmao! These clowns honestly believe just beating a FL team or team from a traditional power state is all the same. It doesn’t matter if it’s the school for the blind, as long as it gots the “FL” after the name, then it’s shocking the world!!!

So obviously STA/AHP/Chaminade can play most years with national top 25 teams. So I get bringing in 3 big dogs. But they brought in 4 last year and threw West Broward to the wolves. They had no business playing a national top 25 type team.    And I know Peachtree Ridge isn’t some powerhouse, but when you choose Piper who was horrible last year, it looks bad. They were so bad and the quality of product suffered. Dillard vs PTR would have been a much better game and Piper/Dr P most likely would have been close.    And now they got Western playing a team ranked THOUSANDS higher in the national rankings. There are about 10 Broward teams better than Western that would be a much better game for the Colorado team based on the national rankings. whoever makes the matchups is obviously incompetent. Because there is no way in hell that 10 Broward teams said hell no to playing in the classic. 

Im not sure if they thought the broward teams were gonna put on a better show or the out of state teams they invited they thought while good wouldnt be that good to embarrass the host florida schools.
