This is for all officials in this forum.    Please tell me what rule, not opinion. precludes a team from using a kicking ball. If a team presents the ball pregame to the officials and the ball is deemed legal. The kicker walks out on the field to do a kickoff, therefore no extra time was used getting the ball in the game. The official refused the "legal" ball and said it want a game ball, even though it was inspected and marked by the officiating crew. We were told Nope, cant use that, its a kicking ball cant use that.    I want rules , not opinions!
