Victory Christian Storm (4-0) at Berkeley Prep Buccaneers (1-1)
When: Friday
Where: Stanford J. Newman Stadium, Tampa
Kickoff: 7 p.m. ET
Skinny: The Storm is coming off a 34-0 win over Seffner Christian that saw running back Cornelius Shaw (2021) put up 246 yards rushing and scoring three touchdowns, two that were of 80-plus yards in helping lead the Storm to victory. With that Shaw just needs one more yard to eclipse 1,000 yards rushing and will easily get it in this game. For the host Buccaneers, they are coming off a 19-14 win over rival Tampa Catholic. In that game quarterback Gavin Rupp (2021) went 8-of-13 for 122 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Running back Xavier Townsend (2022) rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns for the Buccaneers as well. Defensively, keep an eye on Austin Dean (2021) who had 12 tackles last week and a sack, leading the Buccaneers on that front.
