FLORIDA POWER RANKINGS INDEX: Forecasts for Week 3 of the 2026 season

Week 2 of the 2026 Florida high school football season brought another full slate of games across the Sunshine State, with rivalry matchups, interstate tests and plenty of results that continued to shape the early-season picture.

The Enhanced Florida Power Rankings Index enters Week 3 after going 185-92 (.668) in Week 2. Through the first three completed weeks of forecasts, FPRI is now 391-204-1 (.657) for the season.

Ties count as half a win when calculating forecast percentage. Games without a result are excluded from the prediction record.

Week 3 brings another deep statewide slate, including several marquee Florida-vs.-Florida matchups, out-of-state tests and contests across every FHSAA classification, the Sunshine State Athletic Association, the FHSAA independent leagues and independent programs.

The forecasts below show the team FPRI projects to win and the expected margin of victory.

Games are organized by the classification of the projected winner. When teams from different classifications meet, the opponent’s classification is shown in parentheses.

For games in which an out-of-state team is projected to win, the matchup is placed in the classification of the Florida opponent.
