You see that is what I'm wondering. Who is going to challenge them in the North and who will come out of the south.

Programs like BTW reload. Very excited for this game. Harriott will have Aquinas ready to go that much I do know.

Being totally honest I would rank Miami Central ahead of Aquinas. With that being said since IMG cannot make the playoffs and play mostly OOS opponents I wouldn't really rank them, but that's just me. I also feel that Plant should be around 20-25 with their QB now done for the year....that is a serious blow to them.

Flanagan is an interesting team. I know they had their best defensive player hurt late in the season last year and that really hindered them. If they can avoid the injury bug they could be very very good. Besides Apopka who is going to be a contender up north?

The Rockledge teams of the early 00s were pretty good too. Back to back titles in 2002-03 I believe. Palm Bay had a couple titles in the early 2000s as well. Lots of success from Brevard within the last 15 years.

How good can Mainland be this season? Does anyone think they can challenge Miami Central and actually get over the hump and make it to Orlando in 2015?

LA has a couple good teams, but in terms of overall talent you are right they are not on the level of FL, TX, CA, or GA.

I would think both would be pretty good. As long as Corky is on the sidelines Bolles has a chance.

The Conquerors seem to have found the swagger they had about 10 years ago when they won back to back titles in 1A. Can they get the job done again in 3A and win their third straight title? If not Trinity Christian then who is going to step up and take their place at the mountain top?

My question is...did MC contact STA for a possible game? Assuming they at least tried to talk to Smith about it.

If he has text messages than he is closer than me. I am not as close as I once was. From what I have been told though they haven't contacted MC. However if the guy on the National Board has the texts then he is probably right.

Miramar with coaching and discipline would've beaten STA last year and that is a FACT. I am not afraid to admit that. I too hope Miramar does well this year I feel like SFLA football is better with Miramar playing well.

To my knowledge they have not. Central guys have also been very vocal about it as well. I think an Aquinas/Central matchup at Traz Powell would be awesome! Or at Joe Robbie if they cannot fit the crowd there.

I understand talk is a way of life in FL. For me I never liked talk because everytime I would STA would lose. Examples being Bosco last year and those years we lost to Lakeland in the mid 00s lol. I'd love to play GC again though. I don't think we have ever beaten you guys, if we have it was a while ago.

I think Miramar has a strong bid in 8A as well. The 8A South will definitely be interesting to watch that is for sire

Even if Cocoa goes North? I think they match up really well with Bolles and could end their streak of appearing in 4 straight title games.

Much respect for Glades Central and the Muck as a whole. However, I want to see them prove it on the field. I'll wait till December in Orlando to crown GC 4A Champions. If they make it there. Could very well be Glades Central vs BTW if Cocoa goes North.

Your family is all over the place huh? lol Maurice Crum I remember him. He was a pretty good player with the Canes in the late 80s-early 90s.

Truthfully I will be very surprised if they do. They'd both probably play someone out of state if they both go.

I think Cocoa has a better shot than Glades Central does. Cocoa was so close last season and have that added motivation of being just a few plays away from Orlando.

I understand it is different, but hey to each his own right? By the way switching the topic, but I am pretty disappointed that Aquinas has not called Central at all about games. That game would be a headlining NATIONAL game of the week. I know BTW is good and I respect them a ton. However, #2 vs #16 in the nation is way better.

When did you go? I remember Chamberlain had a state title appearance in 2001. Yet had never won a playoff game before that year. I believe they lost to Naples in that game with Dwyane Coleman at RB he was a STUD!!
