Pretty good list. But before I put CC over Mainland they would to show me something more than a fluke 8-7 win over MC.overall state rank in parenthesis

As far as large classes 5A is by far the weakest, with 7A a close second.

Since 2010 outside of Grayson in 2012 and Dematha last year, the only team that has beaten Central is Central. That includes the loses too BTW. Both those loses should have very well been wins.

A safety on a bad snap 2 points. Wright broke a long run for the TD, extra point failed. Central scored on a INT and was going in for the winning score but turned the ball over on a pass deflection. At that time Central was having major problems trying to find ways to score points. As you see once that got rolling and found an offense there was no stopping them.A fluke? How was the points in the game scored?

Carol City has gotten better, but they are not on the same level as Central. That 8-7 win was a fluke. As you see what happened in the playoffs. Carol City is expected to be better on defense, but Central is expected to be better on offense. Outside of Wright at RB and the WR who else do they have? And the question is who at QB do they have to get the ball to him?Miami Central Mainland or Carol City I would say.. I think Miami Central and Carol City are the same team but Central has the better coaching

I say we put this to bed. Because it will again be Armwood out of the north vs. Miami Central or Mainland from the south. The more things change, the more things stay the same.

Time will tell.Vanguard supposed to be good and I think as long as they not intimidated then they good enough to beat armwood

Don't know what Vanguard brings to the field, but Armwood has a "stick" on paper. And for some reason I feel they are in alot of teams head before the game is played.I picked vanguard to beat armwood and play pine Forrest in state semifinals

Not even. I think Armwood will field their best team since '11. Not looking past a potential match up vs. Mainland either.Because of the pressure of going for 5 in a row?

Fair enough. But as a Central fan and alumnus although our offense should be much better than the last two years I wouldn't be surprised if they don't win it all this year.I would if I had their number lol

If you're tired of seeing a MC-Armwood final, tell some of your buddies in the northern half of the bracket to grow some balls when they play Armwood.I'm tired of seeing a boring armwood vs central game that never does anything for the state, those games suck, blowout after blowout, the state of Florida needs fresh blood in the title games

Yes, I am very familiar with KC. I can't always believe what he says. Been hearing that same story for years. I refuse to believe "everyone" is "scared" or doesn't want to play MC. A lot of it has to do with the approach.I know it sounds crazy. If your familiar with the staff, KC said that its true. Williams has been trying to fill the schedule. Strange thing is Northwestern won a national title and she still got them 10 games.

Like I tell people...Winning summer football(7 on 7) is like winning a game of Monopoly. It means nothing. there are a lot of teams that kill the 7 on 7 circuit, but come fall 11 on 11 they win between 4-6 games tops. Like my son says "wonk! wonk! wonk!"
