They went to the following high schools. Name who went to each and where they went to college, if you know. Since we don't like leaving anyone out, I made the list extra big....though I am sure I left someone out. It's very tough making a list like this. I focused on guys who played db in college AND who went on to play db in college and/or the pros. Everyone on the list, with the exception of 1(who is still in college), spent some time in the NFL.
..the breakdown... North FL-8, Central FL-5, South FL-17
Armwood-Leon McQuay/USC
Atlantic(Palm Beach)
Carol City
Dwyer-Matt Elam/Florida
Ely-Patrick Peterson/LSU
FAMU-Sam Madison/Louisville
Fort Myers-Jammi German/UM
Gulliver Prep-Sean Taylor/UM
Haines City-Derwin James/FSU
Lee(Jacksonville)-Leroy Butler/FSU

Lincoln-Antonio Cromartie/FSU
Mandarin-Fred Weary/UF

Believed by some to be the greatest running back tandem ever at the University of FL. #22 was a Parade All-American in high school and lead his team to a state title. He was an honorable mention All-American at UF and a first round draft pick. Spent 10 years in the NFL, most playing for the Seahawks. Was a Pro Bowler twice. #27 below was an honorable mention All-American at UF and a first round draft pick. In his four years as a Gator, he rushed for well over 3000 yards and 30 TD's. He spent 8 years in the NFL with the Bears and was a 4-time Pro Bowler.
Who are they and where did each play in high school?
#27 Neal Anderson Graceville
#22 John Williams Palatka

#5 Admiral Farragut
#9 MAST
#10 Miami Beach

#1 is Plant City in 1914.
#3 is Temple Heights (ended in 2005 I believe. My cousin went there)
#5 is Coach Callahan at Armwood. Man was fixture there. Much respect for what he did.
That's all I got lol.
#1 threw because didn’t Brandon and Plant City both start in 1914?

Ok. More trivia.
1. Hillsborough is the oldest team in the county and started playing football in 1907. What County team is the second oldest? Bonus: what year did they start?
2. A small private school in Tampa fielded a team only from 1945-1953. They played local JV teams, as well as small privates from the area. What is the name of the team?
3. Another school that is now defunct played from the 60's-2000's. Who are they?
4. Tampa Bay Tech and East Bay were called had different names a while ago. What were their former names?
5. Billy Turner and Earl Garcia are number 1 and 2 in all time wins in the county. Who is number 3?
#4 Tampa Vocational Technical. And for east bay was it Wimauma high school?

I got nothing for #1 or #3

I’m gonna post 5 questions at a time and see if anyone knows the answers to these fun facts
1. Tampa Catholic began playing varsity football in 1963. They are considered Jesuit’s arch rival. Since Jesuit has been around since the 20’s, who was Jesuit’s main rival before 1963?
2. What color did Armwood have in their uniforms when they were playing in the mid 80’s? It was an homage to the team they relieved due to overcrowding. Maroon
3. Name every team from Hillsborough that has won a FHSAA Football State Championship.
4. When Tampa Catholic began playing football they were referred to something other than the Crusaders. What was the name?
5. Plant City merged with 3 other schools in 1972. What was the name of all 3 schools?
#5 Marshall, Turkey Creek, Pine Crest

Which teams have won the most playoff games over the past 10 seasons? Well, here goes. In order to make the top 51, a team had to have at least 12 playoff victories in the past 10 seasons.
One can really see the teams that are lagging in terms of playoff performance. Interesting that some of them are often ranked despite this.
16 of the Top 51 are private schools.

The only one I could think of is your list of 29 should be 30. Fort Pierce Central won at least 6 in that time frame.

Which of the teams below has the highest winning percentage (including playoff games) of any team in the state over the past 4 seasons?
American Heritage Plantation
Armwood
Clearwater Central Catholic
Madison County
Osceola
Venice
Vero Beach
I would say the top 3 go AHP, Venice, Vero
venice with one more loss than Vero but more wins as well.

I think the simple answer is this: if the kid transfers to another school that is a member of the FHSAA, the suspension will follow him and he'll miss the first six games. If he transfers to a school that is not a member of the FHSAA, he can play right away.
That said, six games for a 'sideline altercation' seems pretty steep to me. Were others involved? Was the punishment consistent? First time offense for the kid? Any extenuating circumstances? Has an appeal been taken? Film available?
One other ejection. Both on the same team. There is film of the incident. An appeal is being made. Just curious for the kid because he is entering his senior year and the punishment doesn’t fit the crime.

Sideline scuffle at the end of a game

Question. If a student is ejected from a game in the spring and receives a 6 game suspension, could the student transfer to an independent school or non FHSAA school to play in the fall penalty free?

What about transfers? Does Vero typically load up after spring ball?
In the last few years a few but not really crazy, the ones I can remember
David Reese FPC
Jonathan Bryant FPC
Cameron Hicks FPC
Dennis Fisher FPC
James Johnson FPC
Nick Cel JC
Jahari Harvey JC
Definitely some impact players. But nothing ridiculous like some schools in the bigger metro areas and like the other poster pointed out stability st Vero versus the other area schools plays a big role.
