Correct. I was at that game on the campus of Florida International University. It was in 2005 when John Brantley led the team at QB. It was 30-0 Celtics at the half and they were coasting along. The Celtics then got complacent and Pahokee scored 30 unanswered points in the 2nd half mostly on the arm of Robert Love. It took a key 4th down pass from Brantley for a first down and then a 65 yard run right up the middle of the Pahokee defense by RB Rudell Small to ice the game 37-30. Those were the days when Pahokee was one of the most feared teams in the state.
Pahokee was losing 24-7 at the half after turning over the ball twice in the first half. Got the ball on the opening drive and a perfectly thrown ball was dropped and intercepted by OTC!!!! Trinity never got complacent because they never stopped Pahokee or never moved the ball efficiently on them!!!!They got down 30-7 in the 3rd and that's when Pahokee started to take care of the ball!!!! Should've been an easy win that day, but the the ball bounced Trinity's way and they capitalized like good teams should!!!!

games are played on the field for example Pahokee lost to Seminole Ridge who was ranked lower but beat Palm Beach lakes who was ranked higher. Anything can happen but I'm willing to wager they don't win more than 4 with that schedule.

I think Pahokee should be much improved from a year ago. Remember they had 5 turnovers against Vero and 6 against Atlantic last year. They got beat up MENTALLY after that. The new coaching staff is working on disciplines on and off the field. They are hitting the weight room like never before and the coach believes in them. That's the reason he made the schedule so tough. So If you're willing to make a wager, we can certainly work on the details. 4 W's for Pahokee is crazy!!!

So are you saying that Miami Pace, Gulliver Prep played tougher teams?. It's easy now that everyone see how to beat the new system. Schedule1a,2a and 3a teams that has a easy schedule except for your team. Pahokee gets no extra points for playing tougher 7a and 8a teams who face stiffer competition. It makes little sense to play them. Just because Lakes lose close to tougher teams gets you less points than playing a 1a team that has beat up on cupcakes...... Stupid system

That's a nice stat, but the highest classification they played was a 4a team and that was a 3-8 team. I truly believe that Pahokee will surpass that 11 average, IN THE FIRST QUATERBaker had 27 points allowed on defense last year, this year it's 10.7.

How in the world can a computer say Baker is ranked ahead of Pahokee at any point this year past preseason!!!!

Not really a rough spring, but definitely a trying one. Write this down, Pahokee will be better this year, then they were last year! Believe me, great Qbs want to play with great receivers and H. Gilmore will attract a top tier Qb to Pahokee. It was unfortunate that DeeJay Holmes got arrested for going 60 in a 45-mph speed zone, which half of us do every day, smh, but it is what it is, he was not fleeing, he waited until it was safe to pull over, which is part of Florida's law. Ausitin transferring to Moore Haven was due to Hendrix now being employed there. We all know that Austin has all the tools to be a great Qb but with his dad coaching him, he was a turnover waiting to happen, and you know that those 9 interceptions that they say he threw last year, was more like 19+ so him leaving should make us a more balanced team. The Jeremiah incident was heartbreaking, he was definitely slated as a starter this year, he played sparingly last year. and was ready for a breakout, but we will never know. Calm down, were going be fine.
