It depends who you ask..... I don't know what Dillard's record would be with the Ely schedule but I do know that you might have just knocked over a hornets nest!

@cloumbia its 2 soul bowls because theres 1 in Miami and theres 1 in broward county both historic both are huge games between hated rivals.

by 40 plus ...nawww I doubt it dwyer has struggles against some sub tier teams this year and escaped late with a win there undefeated but didn't face many tough teams to get there this Friday vs atlantic will be there first true opponent this year ...so I say ely loses to dwyer on a score of 35-13

It is a ugly situation for sure.   What are your thoughts for a solution Mighty?  At the same time, if I give other playoff teams in the State the Ely schedule - they could very well be 1-9 also.  Give that schedule to West Broward or MacArthur for example and you basically have the same thing.  No one is bashing that garbage McArthur Distright though yet Ely is arguably as good or better than those teams, right?   The 2 spot in Ely's District is easy to achieve yet the 1 spot is nearly impossible to ever achieve because of St. Thomas Aquinas.  Considering Dwyer is 9-1 or 10-0 undefeated and Ely will likely be 1-9 going into that game you would think Dwyer would win by 40 pts +  .  Let's see how that works out for Dwyer....

First of all this ain't 7 on 7 so Dillard qb will have pressure on him ... Second that Carol City you guys beat 2 years ago are different from this years team... 2 years ago all y'all had to do was stop chocolate at qb and you win the game which y'all did... If Buckshot is healthy I'm sorry their gonna whoop that ass! Only thing you guys have in common with Carol city is both of you guys have suspect coaches.. Are you talking about B.A?

@broward I agree with everything you said this will be a great game. I believe this will be a 20-26 type of game with the game being able to go either way.

he worked his way back in a little tonight our starters was shut down the beginning of the 2nd q.t because it was already 19-0 that's why our starting q.b was only 6-9 for 135.

Congrats o my panthers tonight on clinching a playoff berth in dominating fashion at home we have soul bowl next week we just need to remain consistent and injury free and take it 1 game at a time.

But BB had a bunch of seniors graduated last year

@broward to be honest with you I could debate your theory on those wins and loses of Miramar and creek but I'm not as I stated dillard being or not being in anyones top 10 will not help them Friday @ home vs Boynton beach do I believe that the current top 10 is flawed? yes I do but that's neither hear or there my TOP 10 will look like this.

@BROWARD yeah that game going to be huge 6-2 vs 5-2 we have been playing each other for about 7 or 8 straight years so this will be a huge game cant wait for it.

No itsd not against nobody worth bragging about but im proud of my team and how they responded the last 2 weeks. One game at a time were 5-2 next up plantation ONE TEAM ONE GOAL.

When i saw that creek ely score i was in complete shock.!!! even if it was 7-0 creek final that still would have been suspect for me but hey creek is 3-4.!!! hate to say i told u so but the #'s and results don't lie. Miramar lost that game they had Hallandale on the ropes about 4 times they were knocking at the door on offense and squanderd away oppertunites.

@broward i feel you and your right about boyd showing up but i just cant respect there schedule....

just to name a few i would really have like to see them vs a tougher OOD schedule im not negating the job they have done eddie brown is a very good coach but Boynton beating b.a is not impossible...boyd did beat my panthers so i know there talented but with there q.b and top WR going out in that game with serious injury u never know.

Why would you leave out the schedules of American Heritage, Miramar, Plantation etc.....  ?  
 
 My bad I was referencing this year, and I was referencing Boyd Anderson hammering Dillard this year by 20 and Coconut Creek slaughtering Boyd Anderson by 25. I did edit that and put a "*" asterix so we are on the same page...
 
Also, Coconut Creek was way more competitive vs. Hallandale than Dillard.  If Dillard had to play @ Flanagan, @ AHP and @ Hallandale (well we know how that ended)  -they would be lucky to score 28 pts combined.  If Dillard had a stretch of 5 games like Creek's  @ Flanagan, Boyd Anderson (we know what would happen there), @ American Heritage, Cardinal Gibbons, @ Hallandale (big loss)  
- they would probably beat Gibbons and get hammered by the rest!  
 
As for McArthur, I have preached more on this board than anyone and never put them in my top 10 - you did however!    Same with Piper... I have been calling them overrated as well.  They are such a fraud , I actually thought Stoneman Douglas had a shot at them and the game was fairly close.  I said Archbishop McCarthy was the best of those 3 and they are.  I have seen all 3 play this year.  I have no problem putting Miramar above McCarthy but my point was  if some people choose to put a mid-tier undefeated team in the top 10 like McArthur or Piper , why not just put Archbishop McCarthy in there who has clearly been the most impressive of the 3 and have beaten better teams....  That was my point.  I am good with none of those being in the top 10 (I even have McCarthy around 12 myself) but I can tell you that Archbishop McCarthy is playing another respectable team this week in Key West and if they win....I will continue to keep them at the door of the top 10.  
 
So to conclude my top 10 going into this week would be:
 
1. American Heritage Plantation (I expect them to beat Gibbons by 21+)
2. St. Thomas Aquinas (Better slaughter Fort Lauderdale to remain stable)
3. Hallandale (Should handle Miramar and remain stable)
4. Flanagan (Should remain stable after beating down Everglades, however Everglades has gave Flanagan trouble in the past)
5. Deerfield Beach (Should crush Stoneman Douglas)
6. Coconut Creek (Have they thrown in the towel?  Should handle Stranahan with ease)
7. Plantation  (Should pound Western by 20+)
8. Boyd Anderson (Should have no problem winning @  Boynton Beach ) 
9. Dillard (Should remain stable after beating down Northeast)
10. Miramar ( A chance to really solidfy their top 10 spot with a big upset.  If they show up and make it a game, I have no problem keeping them in the top 10.  If they get killed, might be flirting with an exit.)
 
 
I would say the only potential for an upset here (and it would be a little stretch) but perhaps Miramar @ Hallandale.   Doubt it, but could happen...  I think most of the rankings stay the same this week.

@Dillard_High_Panthers How can you have St. Thomas number one when Deerfield Beach beat them and Flanagan over Hallandale when they lost to South Plantation. Look I know the quarterback was out, but Flanagan should or is supposed to have a top notch team from top to bottom.

HOMECOMING NIGHT WAS A SUCCESS OVER 3,000+ WAS in attendance and im just so proud of my panthers.!! no monarch isn't a power house no where near but to see how my panthers responded offense defense special teams they went wild.! it was 39-0 after the 1st q.t.!!! which warranted a running clock and a shortend game (unfortunately) but again im proud of them now they have to be consistent and lets get on a roll.!!!!
 
I'm not gurantteing anything like my NFL coach would say were on to NORTHEAST HIGH.!

@BROWARD AND @SLICK I respect both of you guys take on why dillard wouldn't beat carol city ...for what its worth though carol city and dillard met in the 7on7 dolphins championship and carol city edged dillard 30-28 on a controversial td by carol city in the final second to win it.
 
As I said earlier this week if dillard played like they did last week you right dillard WILL NOT beat carol city but that's the thing though it wasn't that dillard couldn't match boyd Anderson offense dillard has to stop playing so sloppy 150 yards in penalties??? your opponent AVG starting field position was at your 40?? you will lose 8/10 times with those 2 stats alone.!!!
 
the ONLY reason why I wont count out dillard vs carol city is because the talent dillard have and as SLICK know dillard can never be counted out dillard was 28.!!!!! point underdogs was central was good like this in 2013 and we had a slight worse q.b at the time and we had just lost 50-0 to a 4-5 ely team.! but guess what this same coaching staff got it together and they won the game vs central was actually up 21-0 at the half and dillard has a far better team this year. so we just have to wait and see and take it one game at a time still a long season to go.
