We are not losing to Northwestern to start the season! It’ll be a much better game this time, though. Can’t wait to see Dillard in action against Norland and Rock Creek!

Wow that is one damn tough schedule. No guaranteed wins. Losses will be Venice, CMD, and Central.

Dillard is just the better team and they have proven it, over and over again.

How could it possibly be that we are 5 days away from kickoff and some teams don’t even have a full schedule completed yet? What a damn shame SMH

Does Cocoa need a week 8? Rumors around the school are that Palmetto didn’t want to play.

They’re not a threat to Dillard. Ely will be “down” once again this season. You guys are gonna blow them away again, as always. Like an anthill in a tornado. Lol

STA might have a rough season. Dillard, Cocoa, St. Joseph Prep, were all great choices for opponents.

Of course they are more loaded than an average HS Football team. They practice football 5 hours a day with some of the best nutrition and workout plans in the world and get transfers from all across the globe. Why wouldn’t they be? They have earned what they are. But I don’t think Venice is going to get absolutely slaughtered. I think they will at least remain competitive for a half, if nothing else. And no, IMG is not going to obliterate Miami Central. MC is the best team in the state coming into the season. Their returning class from last year is still mostly in tact on top of the bevy of transfers that they have received. In 2017, Central was a blocked punt (a self-inflicted wound,) away from winning the game! This Central team is going to be even better than the 2017 team. You can believe I will be rooting for the Rockets to get that W!

This isn’t the IMG of old, it’s going to be a much closer game than that.

It is possible, though realize what an enormous task Jones has in front of them. Jones has to play the best game they can possibly play and hope MNW makes some mistakes.

Although Jones may have a young team this season compared to MNW’s veteran squad, keep in mind that a good coaching staff can take you far. Jones usually has some good athletes and a strong defense, so early on they should be able to keep pace even if MNW ends up pulling away. I expect The West to win but I do not think it will be a blowout. Also remember that this is just a preseason game; a lot can change in just a week. This is an awesome measuring stick for Jones’ first game out of the gate. In the end I give Jones a mountain of credit for scheduling this game. not many have the courage to schedule an opponent of this magnitude so kudos for taking the initiative. I hope Jones wins but it’s not going to be easy. Best of luck!!

Though I usually agree with mostly everything you say, have to disagree on the last one. I think Osceola will do just enough to sneak away with a win over Apopka. Very good game, though!

Come on you know that they will get it together, lol. I expect Columbia to beat Suwannee. Buchholz might be a little bit more of a stretch, but with a good game plan I could see your Tigers taking both games. Will have to wait and see what happens.

Columbia and Suwannee are bitter rivals. It hasn’t been the rivalry of old in recent years, though. Very one-sided in favor of Columbia. Just a testament to what a good program Columbia have built. Columbia is playing them just for the sake of beating them into the ground and proving they are a threat in 3AS. Going to be painful to watch, LOL

Game will be over in an hour, but you can learn a lot in an hour. Honestly I see Norland sticking with you guys for a little bit, but I really don’t think they have the stamina to compete with Dillard all game long.. DILLARD 31 MN 14

Columbia pounds the snot out of Suwannee Miami Norland loses to Dillard in a low-scoring affair, I could see Dillard winning big though Venice shocks IMG and finally ends their losing streak against the Ascenders Jones finds a way to make things interesting, but doesn’t have enough horsepower to keep up with The West Sarasota defeats Tampa Catholic and proves that they are a program on the rise

Miami Central will get the recognition they deserve when they beat the tar out of IMG week 1.

Where are CMD and Miami Central? Arguably the 2 best teams in the state coming into the season and not even on the list. Miami Central should be number 1 and CMD should be number 2. Then STA, Dillard, MNW, etc etc.

CMD will be easier than Miami Central, Central might be the best team In the state.

Can’t wait to watch the conquerors play. Going to be a joy watching them get back to the 1A state championship vs CMD!

A good coaching staff can take you far. Their offensive line looked good in the spring game against Jones; there are some things to work on of course, but overall I liked what I saw and I think the Raiders are going to be a very formidable opponent for whomever they play.

Mostly agree, but I think I have a few tweaks: 1. Central 2 CMD 3. STA 4. MNW 5. AHP 6. Dillard 7. Cardinal Gibbons 8. Gulliver 9. Homestead 10. Columbus 11. Western 12. Plantation 13. Avante 14. Killian 15. Norland But still, you have a very nice list. I think Miami Central is easily the best team in the state coming into the season. They’ve had tons of transfers on top of an already good returning class. It’s gonna be a party on 17th and nine-five when The Rockets put IMG down week 1. Can’t wait.

Naples is actually going to have a pretty solid team this year. Most of their squad from last year remains in tact and I think they had 2 offensive players with D-1 offers. I think they will at least make it to the regional finals. I might slightly favor them over someone like a Riverside or Mainland, but I think either Columbia or Rockledge would be a little too much for them. Right now, Rockledge appears to be the overall favorite to win 3S but I seriously doubt that Naples and Columbia are going down easy. Will Columbia win? I do not know. Only Father Time does. I hope Columbia wins it all but it’s going to be tough. Best of luck to the Tigers.
