What you're saying is accurate but schools like Central and Northwestern have home grown talent. Yes they do get transfers in but not the whole team and remember everyone pretty much knows each other from the little league parks in the communities.

Exactly they've been playing each other each year since the 80's or 90's and this rival runs deep within both schools and communities. Believe it or not some say this is the new Soul Bowl obviously you know Jackson been fell off.

Miami Central and Miami Northwestern are rivals and it has been time where Northwestern beat Central like this.

Down south schools are good but not on the same level as the northern end of Miami schools. The only school down south that's good year end and out is Palmetto and Columbus (private school). As for Killian schedule they had a good schedule if you looking at it from the outside but from the inside it wasn't that good. Schools like Booker T. Washington, Carol City and Southridge are always good expect this year. The only real contenders were Miramar and Palmetto which is why Killian went 12-0.

Exactly and a lot of parents just don't switch counties for football or any sport but for education as well.

I agree with you and for the Broward schools like Flanagan and Miramar they had dade kids on their roster that helped them win a state title

Unless Pahokee petitions they will stay in 1A and remember Pahokee is 6-12 so half the enrollment is middle school.

I agree with you because people put labels on numbers and it's not like that. Pahokee is in 1A and can compete with just about anyone in the state. Just this season alone they beat 4 schools all in 8A. Palm Beach Lakes Palm Beach Gardens Lake Worth Wellington

Honest opinion I think Dillard would do good in 8A. Now St. Thomas won't be in your way but you could still schedule them in a regular season game.

If so would you like for Dillard to stay in 7A or move up or down.

Gotta remember Homestead is playing just to play in my opinion. I don’t think they've been this talented before and made it this far before. I know I've stated don’t sleep on down south schools but people generally think of Columbus, South Dade, Killian, Southridge and Palmetto not Homestead. Heck Homestead might just get blown out against St. Thomas and might be alright with it because they made it this far. Again good job Dillard and hope y'all do good again next year

I had a feeling this would happen but see when I write something on here I'm looked at as being stupid and don't know what I'm talking about so I was being optimistic hoping Dillard would win not blowout fashion but win. But like I said before people tend to forget about schools down south with all of the talent they have. Congrats to Dillard though on a good season and I'm sure they'll be back next year. Palmetto is down south and people tend to forget how good schools down south are except Columbus. Most people in terms of Miami think of Central and Northwestern as the heavy hitters.
