  1. Exactly I mean could you imagine that type of talent transferring to Columbia High School
  2. Central must have a Hallandale connection or coach because they transferring left and right which is normal during this time but heavily towards Central
  3. See this is smart on Orange County part because you have Miami and Broward with schools of 3, 000 plus but not considered overcrowded
  4. How's Dwyer looking this upcoming season cause at one point I remember them being a threat in 7A
  5. So pretty much you think St. Thomas is a safe bet for 7A title
  6. I didn't know this history of the school thanks and that tuition is high
  7. Central is the same way remember they lost to two OOS teams Grayson 35-3 St. Frances Academy 49-13
  8. Don't forget in 2013 Northwestern played St. Thomas and lost 38-3 however they were down that year. This years matchup is going to be interesting being that both are really good
  9. But you mentioned Dillard in 1992 and 2000 and both years they were state runner ups but again I get what you're saying
  10. If St. Thomas or American Heritage came knocking at your door to recruit you what would you have done or if you have a son what would you do. I get that you love Dillard High School and would go to war for the Panthers but the privates may offer better equipment, funding education which would attract someone. Just imagine if D1 recruits went to HBCU's. Southern and Grambling State would be powerhouses (LSU). Famu and BCU would be powerhouses (FSU, UF and UM). Alabama State and Alabama A&M would be powerhouses (University of Alabama and Auburn)
  11. Miramar has been to states twice but I can understand what you're saying 2009 Miramar 42-20 against DeLand Won 2011 Miramar 31-20 against Plant Lost
  12. Windermere just opened and already have a new school to help with overcrowding and I know Apopka is overcrowded as well
  13. How does the Orlando area determine new schools. Miami and Broward are totally different Cypress Bay High School Enrollment 4800 John A. Ferguson Senior High Enrollment 4250 Coral Reef Senior High Enrollment 3400 South Dade Senior High Enrollment 3200 G. Holmes Braddock Senior High Enrollment 3100 Coral Gables Senior High Enrollment 3100 Miami Coral Park Senior High Enrollment 3000 Miami Senior High Enrollment 2900
  14. How do you feel about the switch from MEAC to SWAC for Famu and BCU. Do you think they have a shot football and band wise
  15. The problem is Florida doesn't have a good attendance crowd for high school football games. 2020 was just bad all around because of Covid but in 2019 besides from 5A which we know Northwestern travels and now is in 6A none of the other games were packed. Personally speaking I think Orlando was the best spot to host the games. Amusement Parks, Restaurants, Hotels just plenty of family oriented things to do. Not to mention Dr. Phillips, Apopka, Jones, Edgewater, Boone, Lake Brantley and Seminole naming a few cause of proximity to the stadium and who's been to state would pack the house. I wish Florida could be like California or Texas
  16. Yeah but are they beating Northwestern and Central though
  17. What's going on with Mainland I'm not hearing people talk about them
  18. I don't know because they have a good alumni not as strong as others like Northwestern but they have the resources to complete with coaching and little league parks. Then again and I'm only hearing this but when you have a principal who's changing things and for the worst it's hard for people who would want to come back or who parents want them to play but just decide on another school.
  19. Miami Carol City Senior High School has been through a lot over the years and I'm not talking about Football I'm talking about the whole school. The principal they have has changed so many things causing the decline in enrollment so everybody transferring out
