Yes your right and the crazy part about it was with Booker T. Washington. Them tornadoes had that win against Bolles locked in. I believe they were leading the entire game until some point where they took their foot off the petal.

Pahokee is a predominantly black neighborhood so unless it's something going on that's negative people won't talk about it. Those that don't know but Booker T. Washington, Central, Edison and Northwestern are all inner city schools with a B ranking out of Miami. Now do you hear people talking about it nope unless it's football.

Yes all of them are historically black. Booker T. Washington opened in 1926-1967 high school 1967-1999 middle school 1999-present back as a high school Miami Northwestern opened in 1955-present Dillard opened in 1907-present Blanche Ely opened in 1951-present

This might be Dillard shot in a long time to make it to states and win. I know the whole city of Fort Lauderdale would show up. Norland is in your district but as you can see they went 14-0 last year and lost to Berkeley Prep whom we all thought would get steamrolled

A lot of it has to do with how well your school is doing and not just with football. I'm sure if you have a son you'd want him to play for Dillard. Now if St. Thomas, American Heritage or Chammiade came running along you wouldn't think twice putting your son at one of them

I think it's a Florida thing because in Texas they show out. Like bra do you see they football stadiums it's insane. Yet Traz Powell stadium is in need of an upgrade and no dade county public school has a stadium on school campus like Broward County
