This playoff system has been a disaster so far. some of these teams about to be in the state semi finals in the suburban districts would never have even sniffed it this far had it been back the old way. it’s doing exactly what it intended. it’s given teams that would never win a title a water down chance to go farther than they would ever go in an old system no disrespect @ColumbiaHighFan2017class but Choctaw or Columbia making a state semi finals in one of the larger classes is a travesty. I know how Columbia has done it once before in the last 20 years but this is an embarrassment of a new system

Shit it should say Dade with 7

If I would have told you Pinellas County would be heading Into the 3rd round of the playoffs with more teams than every county in Florida besides Dade and Broward you would have called me some homer troll who must have moved to Pinellas County, wife is from Pinellas County and forced me to say it, or someone from Pinellas County saved my life. None of those are true. Except Pinellas rolling into the 3rd round with more teams than every county except Dade and Broward!!!!!!!! Here’s what they got left. Largo vs Jesuit - Largo is a heavy underdog but has played Lakewood close, and at this point anything can happen. East Lake vs Ocoee - this is a bit of a mystery. Ocoee has had a light years better schedule, but the results are up and down. This is a tough game to size up. Lakewood vs Calvary Clearwater - when these 2 teams scored huge wins against quality Hillsborough teams it guaranteed Pinellas would have a team playing in the state semi finals. This is another toss up game. CCC vs CDS - CCC has been the Hillsborough killers this year and this game should be no different. Pinellas should have 2 teams walking into the state semis

I don’t think this was even close to an upset. I don’t think there is one tangible thing you can point to and say plant has the edge. Plant isn’t even remotely close to the old championship caliber teams from the past.

Since last night!!!

Where are you getting that at? Lakewood vs TC is a toss up Calvary is favored over Berkeley Largo is favored over East Bay East Lake is favored over Plant CCC plays IRC so one has to win CDS is favored over northside Pinellas could have 3-5 teams in the 3rd round easy

That’s crazy. And Sarasota still has 4 teams in it! Talk about flip flopping
-
Yeah it wasn’t a pecker measuring contest. Just a breakdown. And yes population does reflect most. Manatee with 3 is surprising. And what’s crazy is they all lost in the 1st round. Wonder when’s the last time no Manatee Co team at all made the 2nd round

Here is the list for all 67 counties and how many teams they had enter the playoffs. There were 248 teams who made the playoffs this year.
-
Did you ever get my email of all the results? I bet this year had they best offense ever too. Averaged over 35 points per game
-
That stinks but at least you can tell your kids this was the best team in school history with the most wins and least amount of losses ever
-
Any updates on any bowl games? Josh hates them. Lol. He absolutely refuses to let coaches know to tag him they are interested

If we had 5 classes total based on enrollment we wouldn’t be having any discussion if the playoffs had teams that didn’t deserve to be in
-
I didn’t read through all the responses but absolutely they are a playoff team. There will be about 100 teams WORSE than them in this watered down ass playoffs this year

Tocoi Creek said no bowl
