    • At that point they would only need 3 classes for the publics. So 6 total classes. There is about 560 teams give or take. How many is private I wonder
    • Week 1 bye. That’s gotta sting
    • Tell me if you've heard this before? It would be much better to just separate private schools into three smaller classes and and to have 4 or 5 public school classes. Have a regular structure. Privates would not be restricted from playing public schools except for in the playoffs. There could be an open bowl after the playoffs to crown the best of the best, so once in a while when a Lakeland or Central type team was capable of beating an STA, they could play in the open bowl. Other years, it would be Chaminade v. STA/IMG, etc. Also, I'd allow IMG into the playoff system. At this point, there isn't much difference. Class one would be the STA, IMG, Columbus, AHP, Jesuit class Class two would be the Chaminades, Jax Trinity Christian, Jax Bolles type teams  Class three would be the small Christian schools (NFC, Indian Rocks Christians, etc.) And then four or five geographic public school classes. If they had this structure, there would be no reason for the Sunshine State Conference to exist and all the teams would neatly be placed back in the FHSAA because it would actually make sense again.
