    • Actually, they don't make more money. They probably make less as attendance continues to shrink with the passage of time. So, the trend to more classes may have more to do with giving a larger number of teams a title to compete for. Now this has been largely been made irrelevant as the stacking of teams in the large metro areas will continue to ensure that only a small number of schools have a realistic shot at a title each year, especially with the scrapping of Urban/Suburban classes.
    • Playing a sport doesn't make someone qualified to enforce a state athletics association  If it did then every ex player would be a successful coach  Someone who doesn't have any athletic administration experience should not have the authority to dictate the state association leadership because they haven't run a singular program so how can they make decisions to how the state as a whole should be run
    • On a side note with no intent to smear the QB as these issues you highlight can all be real, he did walk out on our team about mid-season last year when all his expectations disappeared after all the hype that he came in with; with no clear explanation.  Curious to see where he lands next year.
    • The one where he reshuffled the FHSAA board of directors with people he hand appointed    I'll send you the article if you want but I'm not responding to that shit ass that wants to talk about "syndromes" because someone isn't ass kissing his party because he's politically ignorant
    • DeSantis actually got his start in Little League where his Dunedin team made it to the quarter finals of the LL World Series.  He went on to play for Dunedin HS where they made the state playoffs every year.  At Yale, he became team Captain as an outfielder and hit over .300 all four years.  I think the gentlemen with the derogatory comments about the state legislature simply is expressing a political bent as the problems with the FHSAA regarding football began a couple of decades ago as NoleBull correctly points out.  FHSAA has earned a lot of criticism and there is plenty of blame to go around that has nothing to do with politics, though some suffer from the funny "SYNDROME".
