They did have the two worst opponents Any team could have in the first two rounds. They are in the weakest region since I have been following football. So it’s not that surprising.

Taking a look at retrodictive power rankings, it's easy to see how many teams are playing at higher/lower levels over their past three games than they did earlier this year. I chose the last three games because it's a reflection of the last roughly 25% of the season. Will this have an impact on who wins state titles? My guess is most likely no. Look 7A Sumner. Even though they've played at a much higher level as of late, their numbers still don't measure up to the best in that class. Still, it's fun to look at. Speaking of 7A, DeLand and Lake Mary both appear to be peaking at the right time. That might be a great game to watch this weekend.
