I've seen 3 Lakeland games ever where they looked totally lost. 1. STA 56-7 2. Plant 46-9 3. Armwood game last Friday Armwood game was the worst one bc the teams were so evenly matched. L had the best RB and refused to use him. #21 is also a hell of a back. I'm just shocked at Castle's faith in an avg QB against one of the best defenses and best secondaries in the state.

No they didn't. They played N. Gwinnett on the road. Played B-dale (twice, once in season and in the playoffs), Tech, Gaither, Chamberlain, and Wiregrass; all playoff teams. Plus, they beat Plant, who almost qualified and who nobody thought would be mediocre prior to the season. So 9 of their 13 games have been against playoff opponents. This is far from an easy schedule. They also played two 5 & 5 squads in Jefferson and Plant City. They're only real cupcake game was East Bay, who ended up 2 and 8.

Maybe. He let's his emotions and narrow theory of what HS football should be get in the way sometimes. He's obviously very knowledgeable, just very jaded (similar to me the last few years:))

"Sumner High" starts up next year. Don't know if they will be a JV only or a varsity squad their first year?

I'd expect Edgewater to put at least 17-24 on them. But game is at Wood and they play very well at home. Still seeing an Armwood win, but something like 27-21.

It will be very tough for Jesuit to score on MNW D. The speed advantage will be palpable. No disrespect to the Tigers. They've had a great year. But they don't have the speed on O to be a threat to MNW D. I could see Jesuit scoring on a short field or busted play, but that's about it.

Put that cost on the parents. Leave Wed night. Do TDay in Pensacola. If even half of the team can pull it off, it's a huge help.

Too much driving involved. Escambia is going to take this one. Unless Gaither leaves early before. The Gaither parents should get together and take their kids to Pensacola early since they are off all week. Do T-Day in Pensacola.

Armwood is going to have issues with Edgewater's offense. They'll score because they have some balance. But Armwood should also be able to score on the Eagles D.

listen I wish the Indians luck. You can talk all the smack you want if they win. A running clock from IMG or running clock from sta. What's the difference? Your thread asked for an opinion. I gave it. You didn't like it. It's okay. I've seen Venice play this year. I've seen img play this year. I've seen St Thomas play this year. I just don't think the Indians have a prayer.

I think Hillsborough has the most left. Hillsborough still has teams in 2A, 5A, 6A, 7A, and 8A. Pinellas has teams alive in 3A and 4A.

Armwood does not have the offense to compete with St Thomas. If they get by Edgewater with their defense, they'll get shutout in the final again.

why did Lakeland just abandon the running game? Bowman barely touched the ball? This game did not make any sense. Lakeland's defense play pretty tough but gave up a few big plays. Normally Lakeland would be right in this game but they gave up on the run? It was baffling?

Sitting on Armwood side. Much more room.

Armwood's home side has plenty of room but the away side is small. They could put some temp bleachers in spots, but I don't know if that is doable on only 1 week's notice. No other game, other than if they were playing a good Plant team in the playoffs, would have the need for additional bleachers.
