I'm not disputing the statistics. I'm wondering how and why you twisted this topic to race? Keep in mind you are talking about a 15 or 16 year old kid here. The NFL should not even be brought up regardless of race. Now with this recent post that you have made (which by numbers I am not disputing)...Should we look at all professions in the world, break them down by race and advise our youth to look at other options in many cases? If you hypothetically had a black son who was excelling in say science, wanted to be a astronaut, and as a tenth grader already had academic scholarship offers would you told tell him that NASA and astronomy was dominated by whites and advise him to consider focusing on another career? Let me ask you this I happened to use this player as a example be cause I figured it somewhat fit the question/topic. If this player had been black as a 10th grader, would we be this far off topic and at this point in the post right now?

Not sure how this topic turned to race but here we are....- Again Are you suggesting that your evaluation of the kid’s skin color holds more weight then power five recruiters evaluation of the kid’s skill set? Maybe UM, Georgia, and Texas don’t know talent well and just like throwing scholarships at 10th graders for fun? Just read your response please... You are talking like you know this kid’s academic and athletic limitations. It is almost as if you don’t want the kid to succeed athletically or academically. I just don’t get it...

Here is a quick documented and dated story of a kid that recently was a little under the radar, transferred that may not have had any offers if he had not transferred. Did not have any FBS or FCS offers whatsoever until he transferred from Monarch to STA. Coincidence with the timing of the offers after the transfer from Monarch to STA. I don't think so.... Here is dated proof of STA DB/WR Xavier Restrepo making the move Monarch to STA and the Power 5 offers flying in days later. With all due respect to Monarch, I doubt he is looking back.... Hats off to Oxbridge Academy and University School for setting up a nice non-district Week 10 match up in Davie . Fact: Win or lose, 3A Oxbridge Academy, 3A AHD, and 1A Pahokee have the biggest kahunas in PB County. I await a reply from Dwyer fans.

Well we’ be discussed that district and without repeating the obvious don’t expect much to change anytime soon. There are usually 2 , sometimes 3 teams in that District good enough to win 6A almost every year.

Well factor that Carol City is a very established and winning program that many know is returning many of their players. Not a surprise to me that they are attracting players. We all know that historically if you can win that District in the playoffs that you are generally favored to win a state championship.

Well remember that Cardinal Gibbons was a much better team then Dillard last year. Coaching aside , sometimes you also have to be able to play and match a team athletically for 4 quarters to get the W. I just don’t think Dillard lost that game to Cardinal Gibbons because they were out coached.

Not sure if he is bringing his own staff. I thought last year Dillard won all the games they were supposed to for the most part. The games that the lost were pretty much to better teams, not necessarily getting out coached. What can you do....

When he transferred to STA he immediately got offers from Oregon and Illinois. He appears to have ultimately committed to Georgia State.

I definitely hear ya. Made the list for the present day and added them last minute hoping they can hold what they have and maybe even get a couple in to patch the leak so to speak. Would like to see just one 8A team in Dade be a outside threat to Southridge and Columbus to make things interesting....

Well, that is saying a lot.....Although the new Dillard HC comes in with what could be viewed as a solid, expecting him to be a magnet at the level of a Ice Harris or a small private power seems like pretty high standards and expectations.
