  1. From my recollection they usually update around spring of the next year. Could be wrong but I'd estimate January-March.
  2. Wekiva is one of the best 1-3 teams in the state, maybe the best.
  3. They should have auto-generated the byes based on previous two seasons rating. Simple to do.
  4. DP and Palmetto, probably both top 5 in 8A, playing in the first round is brutal. Could have a been a title game if things went normal this year.
  5. Any other contenders outside Columbus opting out? Thanks for the info about Oakleaf. I’ll keep an eye on them!
  6. Probably won't happen, but a final four of.... Seminole-Apopka Dr. Phillips-Osceola ....would be crazy!
  7. Awesome, thanks. Teams that stand out in 8A to me (may be missing some, like Ocoee, Winter Park, Sandalwood) Region 1 - Seminole, Bartram Trail, Oakleaf, Mandarin Region 2 - Apopka, Timber Creek Region 3 - Dr. Phillips, Miami Palmetto, Vero Beach Region 4 - Osceola, Sarasota Riverview, Tampa Plant
  8. The Orlando Sentinel published information that I cannot find online anywhere. On October 7th, the regions and playoff bracket will be announced. Dr. Phillips and 7 other Orange County teams have switched over to region 3, which has Miami Palmetto in it. Theoretically one of those teams could play another Orlando-area team in the state championship.
  9. Just admit that the SEC is above all. Save yourself. Memes locked and loaded.
  10. See edited post and run the numbers. I won't do your homework for you unless you are willing to pay 200 hourly for my services. Until then you are living in a world of delusion and you have been moved to the children's table in perpetuity.
  11. Columbia, the NFL Draft is an excellent gauge of talent. The SEC dominates annually and SEC fans have the numbers on their side. Run the stats & come back, I will be waiting. However I warn you, you are about to be completely destroyed. You may never recover on the board. I plead with you to reconsider this intellectual ass-fking-whooping. As a neutral poster I don't want to do this to you, but expect fire and fury. My AWACS are collecting data as I type. You were maybe -2 years old when I started following this and I'm 32. Time to let the big dog eat.
  12. In terms of FL 1 Florida 2 Miami (+7.5) 3 UCF (+9.5) 4+ (+35) UCF is a legit team and I am happy about it, but their fans can be the worst.
  13. Here is my early take 1t Clemson 1t Alabama 1t Ohio State 4 Florida 5 Miami 6 Georgia 7 Notre Dame 8 Penn State 9 UCF 10 North Carolina - BULLISH. BUY 11 Mississippi State 12 Auburn 13 Texas 14 Texas A&M 15 Oregon 16 Oklahoma State 17 Kansas State 18 Oklahoma 19 Tennessee 20 Wisconsin 21 Michigan 22 LSU 23 Texas Tech 24 Pittsburgh 25 Virginia Tech & Kentucky Disclosure: UF Alum
  14. Yes, but you forget that FSU is still a top 10 team in Florida
  15. DP has now had 4 TDs called back in two years against Apopka. Last year DP WR had his foot in and ref called him out of bounds. He was in bounds. Could’ve tied it. Same this year. Then they call some bogus penalty on DP’s 80 yard reception. Let the dudes play, these refs are out here trying to take over the fking game Thought DP was the better team and didn’t play well. Doesn’t matter anyway this season will probably be a wash anyway... would take DP in a rematch easily but again it’s not a real season.
  16. Osceola beat them 35-14 in the final four.
  17. reached out to APK football on Twitter... streaming answer soon I'll say it again... Apopka is my #2 favorite program. Worked there for my first internship in urban planning. Go Panthers/Darters for life
  18. Kind of crazy how DP won by 17 then Apopka won by 18. That was by far DP's worst game of the year, and probably Apopka's best but I can't be sure as I didn't follow all their games. Apopka was unstoppable that night, I felt it in the first quarter. One of those doom and gloom feelings. Will DP-Apopka be streamed?
  19. DP-APOPKA SINCE 2009 - Winner/Score 2019: APOPKA 21-13 2018: APOPKA 38-7 2017: APOPKA 21-14 (DP was state champion) 2016: APOPKA 15-14 2015: APOPKA 22-20 2014: NO GAME 2013: NO GAME 2012: DP 35-17........ then, APOPKA 38-19 (FINAL FOUR) 2011: DP 32-21 2010: NO GAME 2009: APOPKA 58-52, 5 OT (ROUND 2) Apopka is 7-2 in this time span against DP. For reference, DP is 121-25 during this time span (across all games)... Apopka accounts for 28% of DP's losses since 2009. Darter, you'll like this one. When Hendrickson ran that long bruising TD in the final four in 2012, my friend looked at me and said "that kid's going to the NFL". I'm pretty sure the guy was wayyyy off the radar.
  20. Two of the top teams in 8A square off this week. Both teams are stacked with talent. Apopka beat Ocoee 15-13 and it’s defense is among the best in the state regardless of class. Their vaunted offense usually progresses as the year goes on and I believe they return a ton from last year on that side of the ball. Dr. Phillips led Boone 48-20 before Boone mounted a comeback on some younger guys (48-41). DP’s offense is probably the best it has been since 2010 but the defense gave up some big plays through the air. Predictions? Tough one to call. Apopka will need to stop explosive plays from DP while DP must regain leverage and outside contain on defense. While Boone had most of their success through the air, DP had tons of trouble with the wildcat at the end. 27-27 into OT, then pickem
  21. I wonder if there will be a varsity roster cutoff #.
  22. The DP Media dept is handling it. If you're on the inside of a program, start talking to sponsors. Live stream.
