yes no one should get bonus points for playing Leto and Columbia wouldn't get the points Madison County would get them in your scenario

they do it in football it just takes weeks to decide who the champion is. Here is an idea. It won't work just an idea. Put everyone in a 6 team district. 5 of your first 8 games are district games to determine seeding the others are up to you. Week 9 #3 plays #6, #4 plays #5. week 10 #1 plays winner of #4/5 and #2 plays winner of #3/6. Week 11 district championship

they already played the entire game during the regular season. If two teams end up tied do they start the game over? It is basically over time for those three schools. Much better way to determine it than flip a coin or some random point system. I guess you prefer the random thing

Osceola will over take Vero if they both win out. it will be close but Osceola will have a slight edge. There are about 6 games that are swing games and Vero will need most to go in there favor. Cocoa vs Pahokee is big for Vero. Vero will win out. Osceola will have their hands full with Lake Brantley. If both win out Vero will have between 41.1 and 43.3. If Osceola wins out they will have between 42.9 and 45.4. I project Vero with 42.8 and Osceola 43.1

use the system we have. If a team wins 80% or over they are tier 1. 60-79% tier 2.

I'm obviously not a fan of the system but if it is what we are going to use I would like to help adjust it so it is better. I personally don't think class matters. I think the level of the team matters. If you did add points for playing up I don't think you should get extra points for automatically playing up vs a bad team. So with that said maybe you could award 3 bonus points if you play up vs a tier 1 team and 1 if you play up vs a tier 2 team. If the team is tier 3 or 4 they are probably not very good and not worthy of giving you extra points.

giving extra points for playing up a class is a bad idea. If you are a 5A school and you play Colonial in 8A it shouldn't give you extra points than playing Madison County in 1A. Maybe you can get extra points if you play up a class vs a top tier team.

They are 4 of the top 8 teams in the region. They deserve to be in over the others. I wouldn't call that sickening unless I had to watch my team play one of them in Round 1.

what guys are you talking about? Larger districts less classes would eliminate really bad teams getting in. Also you could have 2 spots to give to deserving teams that didn't finish as district champ or runner up.

Norland is 4-3 Gateway is 4-4. You should get more points for playing Gateway because they lucked up and made the playoffs two years ago? I disagree. Base the teams off how good they are this year
