sure you should. Kids can go anywhere they want now.

rankings are subjective but anyone with a pulse would say BTW is at least a top 4 seed in their region except the fhsaa.

Put all the 2a 3a private in one and all the 1a 2a 3a public in one. Combine 4-8 into 4 classes. Drops you from 8 classes to 6 and probably no More 3 team districts

The small schools complained so much which is why we have 4 classes with half the teams.

yes both can still get in Bad teams currently in that shouldn't be Wildwood, Keswick, Pierson Taylor and St Andrews. Cocoa Beach is really bad but so are all the other teams in that region fighting for the #4 spot. Also maybe Keystone Heights Really good teams currently out BTW, MCC. The others that are out would probably be out soon other than Indian Rocks. they could win the region and are currently out.

4A overall thoughts Not bad so far other than Booker T Washington not making the playoffs. If they miss the playoffs there has to be change. If not I still hope they tweak it because it needs adjusted. I think they need to go back to districts in 1-4A and tweak the points a little then it would be 10 times better than before. If not then this is a failure. Problem is those small schools are not going to want to go back to districts because 95% of them are scared to play really good teams and want no part of being in a district with a BTW, Pahokee, Madison County, Oxbridge, Cocoa, etc. make them be in a district. it is the only fair way to decide a true state champion.

Obviously this will be the biggest failure of the system if they don't make it.

Overall thoughts in 3A major blunders right now Oxbridge a #3 seed and probably the best or second best team in the state. Pierson Taylor in the playoffs and MCC out St Andrews as a 2 seed and Benjamin out who will probably put a running clock on them this week.

Everglades looks like St Andrew's is benefiting from a weak schedule and is a 35 point underdog to Benjamin who is currently out of the playoffs. Good thing is they play this week. However bad news is I could see Benjamin winning by a bunch then losing last two games to Key West and Kings Academy and not getting in over St Andrews.

ok so after doing 1A and 2A to be honest it is not that bad at the moment. My main concern is leaving good teams out and letting bad teams in because they won a lot of game vs a very soft schedule. No system is going to be perfect but we shouldn't leave the good teams out that are deserving. 1A Chipley over Baker is funny but in the old system Baker might have to travel to Chipley so I don't really care who is seeded 1 or 2 as long as they are both in. Wildwood getting in is not good and to be a #2 seed is laughable. Williston is a decent team with a hard schedule and they have Union County and Dixie County left. Williston would probably beat Wildwood by 20. 2A Other than a few seeds the only major problem I see is Keswick getting in over anyone especially Indian Rocks. Keswick is 3-3 with 2 bad teams left. Keswick might be the worst team in the whole Region. They have 2 games left and should win one and might win both. Indian Rocks has 3 games left and will be an underdog in 2 of them. Remember you get more points for beating a bad team than losing to a good team. Indian Rocks will probably have to pull an upset or they will be watching the worst team in the region make the playoffs why possibly the best team sits home. I will look at 3A and 4A tomorrow.

Edgewater vs East Ridge. Winner is most likely district champ. Loser has some work to do. I like Vero Beach to come out of region 2 and maybe the North but it is so close with a lot of good teams not great teams.
