They were all in the same classification for years so at the end of the day only one would be state champs whether they were in the same district or not.

When the Miami powers were all in the same district that was elite.

I don't see them losing to MadCo and the Bolles games I can see them winning since its early in the season. The Riverside game should be a great one tho. -
Will he still be trash if he starts for madco and makes an impact?
-
Maybe if his last name was Washington lol

Trap game not necessarily a loss. Feel like it will be an offensive battle with someone making a stop late and icing it with a late score. As long as they play mistake free then Venice should win
-
Exactly and with the games against Jackson State there's gonna be major exposure for both schools thanks to Head Coach Primetime standing on the other side lol. But more major recruits will have eyes on them just off that game alone.
-
Couldn't Madison be considered Fighting County as well lmao but I see 2 losses interchangeable with a possible lol feel like I'm calling books for a spades game. But losses to Valdosta and Columbia. Upset alert FSU High or Rickards.

Front end of the schedule is loaded for sure. They are definitely more than capable of running the table and going undefeated. But I'm not gonna lie I can see them stumbling in the first 5 weeks of the schedule. Toss ups are the KOC against Northwestern and home against Gibbons. I honestly believe they will edge out Edgewater in a close one but that can go either way depending on who forces the late turnover in that game. Trap games are Cocoa and Palmetto. Well only if that's Miami Palmetto lmao. But I do believe the Cocoa one is definitely the tricky one. They could come into that game hot on a couple big wins or looking to avenge a loss in a major way.

It was definitely an unexpected switch being that they're going from Mid-Eastern to Southwest. But I do feel like they wanted to freshen things up and be more competitive. Not saying the MEAC isn't competitive but both schools have done a lot for that conference in multiple sports. Plus the SWAC brand as a whole has been rising lately, so it could be another way to raise the school's profile and open up other opportunities. I definitely feel like football and band wise they both have a great shot and SWAC member bands are more on par with both schools when it comes to accolades. Also, with the MEAC v SWAC games and the bowl it gives more intrigue when those 2 teams face a MEAC school. Good backstory for the games for the media lol

If they play the classic at the Daytona International Speedway.
-
It would be dope if they did that again

Use to go every Year before I spent my time in the military.

Half the people I went to school with went to FAMU. I'm more of a BCU guy.

Nice. Don't have too much fun at the Library lmao

You at FAMU?

One of Cocoa's standout defensive linemen who was a focal point for them was a 5 year starter including his eighth grade year. Holy Trinity will also have 8th graders playing on their squad as well. Which I didn't know that they had 7th and 8th graders at their academy. I honestly didn't think there would be anything against it especially if said school is a junior/senior high

The new QB was very solid. It took a little bit for him to settle in but once he did the offense started rolling. Cocoa will put up big numbers again through the air with his size and ability. Not to mention they have playmakers all over the field especially the outside. Solid receiving corps with home run ability with a 6'5 receiver and 6'5 TE that went up and grabbed everything. Great RB as usual. Defense is definitely solid again. Only thing that was concerning were some of the plays the DBs didn't stop. Which was surprising because they should have one of the best defensive backfield in the area. Then again their top DB didn't play on the defensive side at all. He only played a little bit at receiver. They should do well next season heading into the postseason they will be ready for a state run. The future is definitely bright at the QB position with a rising freshman set to backup. He made solid throws and always made the right decision against a defense that was flying all over the place. Which says alot for an 8th grader playing in that scrimmage. He's around 6'1 so again the future is bright.

Disregard, I misread his tweet. He was talking about TRU Prep

I take that back. Since Rockledge is the KOC game I guess I can say Merritt Island is the only Brevard school with all 3 scheduled since they have Cocoa as the KOC. But for Vero including the KOC I can see 4 to 5 of these games being competitive. Definitely looking forward to the Treasure Coast and Cocoa games. Also want to see how Rockledge passing game will hold up against Vero. The Viera and Cocoa games are probably gonna be touted as the battle of the QB.
-
Solid schedule and it's funny how Vero is playing Rockledge, Cocoa and Viera. Yet none of the schools in Brevard have all 3 of them on their schedule.

Yea that's what I saw on Twitter that U School isn't fielding a football team this upcoming season either.
