You should put up the first quarter and halftime scores from those teams that lost to Cocoa and Rockledge. It makes it even worse

I remember this very well. Growing up watching brevard heavyweights playing each other each week but times have changed. I'm not saying playing locally is detrimental to improving. All in all you just run into a team that's hitting on all cylinders at all phases of the game and just can't get any momentum going.

I would have to say Gibbons is the favorite especially if they play the way they did last night. Bolles executes very well which is what keeps them in games and helps them come back when they are down

Cocoa lost any chance of gaining momentum when the score was 14-3 in favor of Gibbons. Cocoa second running back looked like he was well on his way to return the kickoff for a touchdown but ended up pulling up at the 50 when it appeared he pulled his hamstring. He never returned to the game after that.

What hurt brevard teams was being forced to just play in county teams. Both Rockledge and Cocoa had pretty good schedules before that change was made. They still could've played a couple out of county teams. The 2 Georgia games. And Chaminade would've gave Cocoa a great measuring point for them against south florida teams

Reminds me of the season East Lee County forfeited their game against Cocoa the day before they were gonna play because they thought they scheduled Cocoa Beach. The following week Champagnat walked off the field just before halftime and forfeited their game against Cocoa.

That's exactly what satellite, titusville, and cocoa beach is doing. It's worked out pretty well for satellite.

Yea they definitely have a chance but they will have to play as perfect a game as they can. I'm a Rockledge alum as well as my shop lead up here in Jacksonville. I was telling him the other day that if they won Friday this would be the best chance they would have at beating AHP or Northwestern after those 2 heavyweights battled. Rockledge has the playmakers to keep up at each level. Now it's on the defense to make plays and stops. And on the offensive coordinator to call great plays and use both quarterbacks effectively, which he didn't do in the game against Cocoa. In that game they only had one play that they used Bryce Norton on which was a designed QB run that got stuffed.

Oh I can tell from the score from last night. I'm just interested to see how Rockledge can respond to a team like AHP. Also, this will be their 2nd time playing each other in the past 3 seasons.
