  1. Yeah that's wrong. Has him ranked as the 73rd best player in the ESPN150. When you go to the rankings he's no where to be found. Hurst wasn't considered a football recruit he was all baseball. I doubt they even ranked him coming out of high school. He had to walk on after his pro baseball career was over.
  2. Hayden Hurst only played 1 year of high school football. Pretty sure he wasn't a five star recruit.
  3. You made the comment most OOS fear Florida so I had to look up some OOS games for what we would consider our top programs. We have won our fair share of games and for the most part theses games are played out of state, maybe because they have a better facilities not sure. But these are just a list of teams and who we have lost too. Miami Central- Dematha (MD), Grayson (GA), Camden County(GA) Miami Northwestern- Chandler (AZ), Long Beach Poly (CA) Miami Booker T Washington- Hamilton(AZ), Northside Warner Robbins (GA) Cocoa- Bishop Gorman (NV), St. Edward(OH), Louisville Trinity(KY), Gonzaga (DC), St Joseph Prep(PA), Colerain (OH), Skyline(TX), West Monroe(LA) St. Thomas Aquinas- Centennial (AZ), Bishop Gorman (NV), Don Bosco (NJ) twice Plant- Colquitt County (GA), Lowndes (GA), John Curtis Christian (LA), Abilene(TX) Manatee - Hewitt-Trussville(AL), Hoover (AL), Ware County (GA), Our Lady of Good Counsel(MD), Don Bosco (NJ) I think its fair to say Florida has lost its share of games and people aren't fearful of them.
  4. Those teams don't even compare to that 96 Bolles team. The 96 Bolles team could have played with anyone in the country.
  5. USA Today. That Bolles team was loaded and could play with anyone. Not like the average one that beat Columbia this year.
  6. I haven't looked at it but if every category got a 5 point bump for a loss I would think it wouldn't really do anything. Because everyone no matter if you lose to Cat 1 or 4 would be getting 5 more points than last year.
  7. Jacksonville has lacked coaching and administrative support as has been posted. And Jacksonville is a big city but is no where the size of Miami. Miami is almost triple the size in population.
  8. Exactly. Big difference in that and what IMG is doing.
  9. If a kids says I want to go to OTC because they have a nice school and nice facilities and have football tradition that's totally different than OTC coaches calling all the 5 stars in the country selling them on coming there.
  10. Well just because you don't like it doesn't mean you should leave them out when naming private schools. And that's obviously the difference in recruiting. OTC still passively recruits because of who they are by how you define it.
  11. There is a huge difference there. They really aren't even close to the same. My man issue with what you're saying is you keep leaving out Trinity Catholic in the list of your private schools. I have no problem with IMG they can keep doing what they're doing. I hope they help some kids reach their goals. But to compare to them some of those other schools is completely unfair.
  12. IMG actively recruits kids from all over the country. They go after the 5 star kids everywhere. Their coaches get on the phone and call them and recruit them as if they were a college coach. Not even close to some of the schools you mentioned.
  13. Shouldn't Ribault be the 3 seed and Trinity the 4th?
  14. But if Ponte Vedra beats them that forces a 3 way tie.
  15. I saw on the FHSAA website. Bolles is already the district champ? How is that possible?
