The FHSAA will ruin you if you don’t self report when allegations are posted. They deal with cheating but they don’t deal with lying.

Jax TCA plays Deerfield beach in spring game

Beat Chaminade and Buford last year but lost handily to Columbus and STA. I don’t know what kind of transfers they got but they should be a solid team -
Now if Cocoa had that 2016 team? Then that would be one heck of a game
-
Having seen film on Brentwood, if they don’t beat CCC, then CCC is gonna beat TCA and Chaminade. Brentwood is fast, talented, and extremely well coached...to the point where I think they’d be the clear #2 in 4A. Think the Bolles teams of old. These aren’t the same Cocoa teams of old and Hoover is big, deep, and talented. I expect a 14+ win for Hoover.

Why do we even go to this? We are going to go 0-4
-
Yikes...that’s gonna be a rough game for Cocoa

Teams to watch in 2019 (besides the obvious ones)

I would be shocked. They’ve certainly got the talent but just can’t seem to ever put it together -
That’s mind blowing

Yes. Very talented team with a great coaching staff. That district with them, Mandarin, and Bartram will be a dogfight this year. -

Oh yeah they should all win at least one playoff game next year. Oakleaf is one player away on offense and defense from winning a state title I think. -

The concern with Orange Park is they are in the same area as Fleming Island and Oakleaf, who have been much stronger in recent history. Will be interesting to see how things work out. -

They’ve got athletes, money, and it appears this guy can coach...so yes I would think so. However, I have heard only negative things about the administration. -

Orange Park -
Those kids were at TCA before, maybe they never took them off hudl? If they came back, nobody is touching them this year in 3A.

I’m actually in huge support of this league. Great way for these schools/communities to achieve something, even if it’s not a state title. That being said, this isn’t how I would go about doing things.

I have unfortunately made my mess and now have to live in it. My wife works from home so she doesn’t mind and the kids attend a fantastic school (elementary). We may move when the kids get older and have them attend a private school in town. My thinking is my younger co-workers (same with my friends) are starting to stay in town more, even with kids. I think the younger generation is valuing their time more and less willing to sit in traffic. I hope this continues and Duval County schools improve as a result.

That looks and sounds about right

You are absolutely correct. Add in Fleming Island to that upper middle class category. I do think that as the area continues to change, you will see more families moving back to Jacksonville for a shorter commute. My commute from Fleming Island to the JTB area is over an hour each way. I’m ready to move over that way!
