any team with a .500 record or better that doesn't make the playoffs can play in a bowl game. there are some bowl games that are set up every year. Winter Park rotary bowl comes to mind. Most team just call around and set it up with other teams that don't make the playoffs.
Is it a trophy at the end
-
So how do the bowl games work I didn’t even kno we did them and how are the teams selected ?

they still will only be giving up 6 points a game in their wins
U got jokes but aye here’s to a great game

As I sit here and listen to when @ColumbiaHighFan2017class Speaks about teams who act like their bad ass then get ran off the field by a “real bad ass” it brings to question since when did u have to be nationally good or top 20 state good in order to be deemed good ?
That’s the problem right there everyone can’t be nationally ranked or even state ranked just like every fighter can’t be heavy weights.
but yet and still in every level of fighting there is a CHAMPIONSHIP wether it’s heavy weight or feather weight.
if u ask me the FHSAA should implement that same type of system ....implement a HEAVY WEIGHT CLASS INTERMEDIATE CLASS LIGHT CLASS AND FEATHER WEIGHT CLASS
and all the teams that’s left over make them independent and let them have their own championship as well.
for most of those kids wether they won or runner up it would stick with them for a lifetime.
at the end of the day wether these kids are nationally ranked or not they still had to get up practice hard and ply hard unless games are just given to u now but if their not no matter what the other teams ranking is they still had to play to get that win.

Y'all not gone lose 69-0
We will find out the final result Friday

Back in 2013 the 28 underdog point spread was the largest Dillard had faced in a long time well that point spread has gotten two points steeper.
going into Friday’s home playoff game as district champion Dillard will be 30 POINT UNDERDOGS so it may end 30-0 or as good as the rockets is it may end 56-0.
so much can happen in a game where momentum is switched and upsets happen but Miami central has been extremely battle tested and is more then ready to make a run back to Orlando.
in my heart of hearts I pray Dillard make it respectable to really show growth this season and build off that next year but if not and we lose 69-0 I still look forward what strides we can and will make moving forward GO PANTHERS GO!!

I think Central will win comfortably, but you're correct about Dillard. They've improved so much, hopefully that continues going into next season.
Hell yea man got to

Keith Franklin out after two seasons...the Broward County moving van is already in action.
He didn’t do so good as our HC either

Win lose or draw I’m PAWS UP!! no matter what ...this season for Dillard has been something special and the start of something special as long as we KEEP the pieces we have and continue to BUILD understanding it takes continuity and CONSISTENCY to build a POWERHOUSE.
im proud of the coaching staff this year for the discipline and maturity they put into the organization this is DEF not the Dillard of old. and last but not least I’m dam sure proud of all the young men on this team with 90% being underclassman.
We may lose by 40 Friday may lose by 1 hell may even shock the world and win but I know one thing for sure what ever happens I will forever be a panther AND WILL ALWAYS BLEED BLUE AND GRAY!!

What is the enrollment of those 4 schools?
Not sure but it shouldn’t go by population as proven even 1a schools can compete with 8a

They could split up district 16. The Broward teams are not that far away. Now if they did, Dillard may not be district champion, though. The current problem is that District 16 is just too good. The best chance Dillard has is to move up to 7a (but then you get St. Thomas) or down to 5a, but then you get American Heritage and Cardinal Gibbons. So, I only see two possible solutions if Dillard is to have a deep run. The first is to get a lot better, which is a possibility as the new coaching staff seems to be doing well, or jump two classes to 8a. That would be somewhat tough, but at lest no CC, Central or MNW or no Aquinas, Cardinal Gibbons or American Heritage.
They can put northwestern in 5a central and carol city in 7a norland in 8a leave Dillard in 6A

I said it last year I'll say it this year
If you want less teams from district 16 to make it then you need to pull for the other 3 districts to get better because until the others get better this will be a common theme
Your saying get better but it’s other teams in those districts with better records missing out boyd Anderson and norland is 4-6 and I’m sure their are many other teams in 6A with 5-5 or better records like MNW
-
So for example booker t got more points for beating us and we ending up being 8-2
and even tho booker t has lot of points because of their SOS is losing to them didn’t do us any good
neither did we ge points for losing to gibbons
but teams like norland is 4-6 against every good team they faced but their in this point system makes zero sense
-
I agree for the last few weeks maxpreps have been dropping our rankings rapidly now were almost ranked 1000!!! In the the nation really 1 thousand lol
