When will FHSAA announce when each classification championship game will be played?

After reading everyone’s comments, I am confident that this metro/suburban plan is trash. The best idea I’ve heard would be to keep them together and just promote/demote yearly. There are plenty of large metro schools that have no chance against many other large metro and should be moved down. Eventually you would see the best teams in the state competing against each other which will lead to a more level playing field.

I understand the thinking here but, having a panhandle team team travel to S Florida or vice versa seems broken.

On the FHSAA website, there is a discrepancy. It shows Region 1 vs 2 and 3 vs 4 but, it also shows 1 ranking playing 4 and 2 vs 3. Are they reseeding Semi-Finals based on RPI?

The difference between STA and Dillard is that Dillard looked ahead. Ever since losing to STA they were anxiously expecting to beat STA in the playoffs. They almost lost to Plantation the week after STA. Homestead will need to play their best game of the year and STA will have to come out flat. STA wins by at least 14 pints.

How was the crowd and atmosphere

With both losing FTL will be 3rd and Miramar 4th. District winners are in and ranked by RPI. Non district winners in based on RPI.

Looks like Dillard will be 6th in Region 4 and play at Fort Lauderdale round 1

4A-8A state championships will be played at Lockhart Stadium - Fort Lauderdale

Looks Dillard will play Miramar or Ft Lauderdale. Too close to call.

I went to a Muck Bowl years ago. Had a blast! Felt like an NFL Super Bowl.

Dillard will have to make it round 3 to play STA - the way I see it. Doral has higher RPI and will be 5th. STA will play winner of 4th and 5th in second round.

The Western coaches are an embarrassment. They should be called out for running up the score.

On a side note.... the game used to be on national TV and then it was moved to only local Orlando TV or a paid ticket online. NOT GOOD

University shut down all athletics for the semester. Their kids attended University and played for a newly formed team Tru Prep. Just shows how inept Max Preps is.

I would bet that there many small schools who will barely qualify or just miss playoffs that are happy with the current system. They can choose their own schedule and would rather go 5-5 than be ‘forced’ to play teams that roll over them.
