Funny how this list from Laz depicts more of what the final 8 team open division should really look like. 

They still play regular season schedule. The final maxprep/FHSAA rankings will determine the top 8. The top 8 in the state at the end of the season will be in the open division playoffs. More than likely the finals for the open will be the finale game of the title games to put more eyes on it

I think what's interesting is that pahokee is constantly in rural 1A but glades central whose in the same small part of town is in 4A or 3A, shouldn't they both be in 1A rural
