A local coach showed me a FL bill that he said will likely get approved this summer where non-traditional students will have to play for the school they are zoned for. A *lot* of the stronger teams in the state have a ton of these kids that are non-traditional, meaning they are "home-schooled" or taking bullshit online classes but are doing so only for an athletic advantage. Rise Preparatory Academy is a clearing house for hundreds of these kids all over south FL, where in exchange finding high-caliber athletes exposure and access to college recruiters, the school profits by receiving state school vouchers. It's very profitable and a total abuse of the state voucher program, honestly. If this law passes as expected, schools like Venice and Lakeland will probably be severely impacted. I am not sure how or if this will apply to private schools that have no zone, though? -

As far as district 6A 16 columbus is another school who has received over 40 transfers so far this off season, they hired coach cube, miami central former head coach who led the rockets to their last state title in 2022, and he also brought in his own assistants from that years central team. Columbus is one of the hottest teams talked about this off season in south florida and would be the heavy favs to win that district, unless that team just falls apart. -

I know I read up top that these numbers dont reflect coaching changes and or transfers. So just a little south florida update. District 15 and 16 can look alot diffrent then the current prediction percentages. In district 15 west broward after receiving over 35 transfers last season, that seen them go from door mat to a state title appearance for the 1st time in school history, has seen a mass exodus from the same transfers they got just last year. Including their best WR 5* Sears whose now at columbus. Their running back coach who had them as the #2 rushing team in broward is now at dillard. But in the same district cypress bay who has been one of the bottom feeders for the last 2 decades, have received over 25 high caliber transfers so far and a complete coaching staff over haul. Plantation high school head coach of last year has took the HC job, bringing alone all of his assistants from plantation. So as of right now cypress bay should be the heavy fans to come out of district 15 6A. -
No idea yet. I'll have to see what all I have going on besides a cardiologist visit next week before I book an appointment. I'd guess that these guys and do just about any type of cut. It's a cool place. https://www.legitcutsbarbershop.com/
