According to the rules of NIL, someone that supports the program or is involved in the program cannot offer a player an NIL deal. So boosters, coaches, teachers, parents, or any of the likes cannot offer money. Also if a company decides to give a player an NIL deal they cannot give the program any money or support. All deals are meant to be mutually exclusive. That is at least how our AD had explained it to us, and why Venices head coaches brother had to take back an NIL deal he offered a player when it was first approved.
They're fuming down here in south fl they say the refs down there in lake gibson was criminally bad, like disgusting bad. Mater led 20-0 3rd qt and ended up losing 34-26
It seems there is a severe lack of SOS in the calculations. Yes, this is Venice centric. But, it is obvious. Riverview was ranked 3 in 7A, Venice 11. Venice beats Riverview handily. Riverview stays at 3, Venice drops to 15.
Venice gave up 29 as a high water mark in season opener. Only gave up 27 to IMG in a 27-14 loss. Then had CCC as a 28 point favorite? The CCC game was a really good game and Venice won. But 28?
If you are paying for the use of FPR, switch to HSRATINGS.COM. Used to be CalPreps.COM is based on Freeman Ratings which has been in place for probably close to 25 years. Max Preps (at least in the beginning) used CalPreps as the base for it's ratings system. Sure, they miss sometimes. But it is far better than anything I have seen out of FPR.
