JACKSONVILLE | After having to have emergency septuple bypass surgery on his heart in January, the face of Bolles football is back to work, First Coast News is reporting.
Rogers, who was planning to have shoulder surgery before it was discovered he needed heart surgery, will be getting back on the field come May for Spring football. He told First Coast News that he plans to take his time to make sure he is feeling well to the do the job the same way he has been doing it for years.
Bolles has won 10 state championships under Rogers, the latest coming this past December in Orlando. The school also owns the state record for most state championships won at 11.
