The preseason gave us a starting point.
Week 1 gave us evidence.
For the first time in 2026, regular-season results are part of the Enhanced Florida Power Rankings Index, and the effect is already visible across Florida’s eight regional rankings.
Some of the movement is easy to understand. West Boca Raton beat American Heritage (Plantation) and climbed. Columbia knocked off Bolles and climbed. Merritt Island beat Cocoa by 25 points and closed considerable ground in the Space & Treasure Coast.
Other movement requires more context.
Several teams were open in Week 1. Archbishop McCarthy’s game with Royal Palm Beach was postponed. True North’s opener was canceled. And because FPRI evaluates teams within a connected system of performance and opponent strength, a team can move even without the result immediately above or below it changing in the obvious direction.
That volatility is going to be part of the early season.
There is still preseason information in the system, but every regular-season game gives FPRI more evidence about what these teams actually are. As the sample grows, the rankings should increasingly become a reflection of what happens on the field rather than what was projected before the season.
The regional rankings make that especially interesting because classification lines disappear. Large schools, small schools, SSAA programs and independents are measured within the same geographic conversation.
After one week, several of those conversations have already changed.

Pace Holds the Panhandle, but the Order Behind the Patriots Changes
Pace remains the standard in the Panhandle after opening the regular season with a 41-0 shutout of Fairhope (Ala.).
The Patriots’ rating moves to 75.21, enough to maintain the region’s No. 1 spot as several teams behind them begin moving.
Blountstown made the biggest move near the top, climbing two positions to No. 2 with a 72.04 rating after beating Ariton (Ala.) 49-14. Pensacola Catholic remains third at 70.22 following a 20-0 shutout of Milton.
That creates a clear top three heading into Week 2, and two of those teams are about to settle something on the field.
Madison County moved up one regional spot to No. 4 after a 38-0 win over Lecanto, while Mosley climbed to No. 5 following one of the week’s most consequential head-to-head results.
Choctawhatchee entered the season No. 2 in the region. Mosley beat the Indians 15-13 at Tommy Oliver Stadium.
The Dolphins now sit fifth. Choctawhatchee tumbles seven regional positions to No. 9.
It is the sharpest move inside the Panhandle Power 10 and an early illustration of how quickly one result can alter the picture when the sample is still small.
Aucilla Christian is sixth at 65.07 following a 19-8 win over Sneads. Taylor County moved up two spots to No. 7 after beating Bozeman 47-13, while Lincoln stays eighth following a 13-10 road win over Crestview.
Florida High moves into the Power 10 at No. 10 after beating Navarre 37-13.

Week 2 spotlight
The best game in the region is also the cleanest test of the new rankings.
No. 1 Pace travels to No. 3 Pensacola Catholic for an 7:30 p.m. CT kickoff Friday at Gorecki-LaBeau Stadium. Only 4.99 rating points separate them after Week 1.
Blountstown hosts Bay at Ted Cooper Stadium at Bowles Field. Madison County travels to Gadsden County at Jaguars Stadium, while Mosley welcomes Godby to Tommy Oliver Stadium.
Choctawhatchee gets an immediate chance to steady itself when Auburn (Ala.) visits Joe Etheredge Stadium.
The Panhandle did not need long to produce its first major shakeup. Week 2 gives the region a chance to produce another one.
Buchholz Survives, Columbia Makes a Statement in North Central Florida
Buchholz remains No. 1 in North Central Florida, but the Bobcats did not coast into the first in-season rankings.
Vanguard pushed Buchholz into overtime at Booster Stadium before the Bobcats escaped Ocala with a 34-28 victory. Buchholz retains the top spot with a 90.36 rating, while Vanguard falls two regional positions to No. 6.
Hawthorne also needed overtime.
The Hornets beat Bishop Moore 28-25 and remain No. 2 at 83.00.
Bradford stays third after producing one of the most dominant results of Week 1, a 65-0 shutout of West Port.
Then comes Columbia.
The Tigers were No. 6 in the preseason regional rankings. A 20-19 victory over Bolles at Skinner-Barco Stadium moves Columbia two spots to No. 4 and gives North Central Florida one of its better early-season résumé wins.
The Villages jumps four places to No. 5 after beating Zephyrhills 31-14.
Williston remains No. 7 after winning the Levy County matchup with Chiefland 30-12. Chiefland, which entered the season fifth in the region, drops three places to No. 8.
Dunnellon moves into the Top 10 after a 35-6 victory over Tavares.
South Sumter climbs three spots to No. 10 after beating Wiregrass Ranch 24-21 at Inman Sherman Field. That result is worth noting because Wiregrass entered the season much higher in Tampa Bay’s regional order, giving the Raiders a useful cross-regional result right out of the gate.

Week 2 spotlight
North Central Florida has another strong slate.
Gainesville visits Buchholz at Citizens Field, and Newberry goes to Annie Mae Phillips Stadium to face Hawthorne.
Bradford travels to Baker County at Veteran’s Memorial Stadium, giving the Tornadoes a stronger test after their 65-point opening victory.
Columbia follows the Bolles win by welcoming Lakewood to Tiger Stadium. Lakewood enters after pushing Miami Northwestern to the end in a 20-18 loss.
Vanguard also gets no breather. Miami Norland, No. 11 in South Florida, travels to Booster Stadium.
South Sumter goes to Williston for a matchup between two members of the regional Power 10.
The Villages is open, leaving the Buffalo unable to add another result while the teams around them continue playing.
Raines Remains the Standard in Northeast Florida
There was little suspense at the very top.
Raines remains No. 1 in Northeast Florida with a 98.21 rating after beating Oakleaf 21-7 at The Dungeon.
St. Augustine stays second at 86.43 after shutting out Palatka 49-0.
The more interesting movement begins at No. 3.
Mandarin climbs two spots after a 38-21 win over McArthur. Bolles slips one position to No. 4 following its 20-19 loss to Columbia.
Nease also falls one spot after Creekside beat the Panthers 21-14.
Beachside is the first major mover. The Barracudas jump five positions from No. 11 to No. 6 after a 58-0 win over KIPP Bold City.
Oakleaf drops one spot to seventh following the loss to Raines.
Bishop Kenny moves two places to No. 8 as the broader regional order changes. There was no Bishop Kenny result in the Week 1 game file, so there is no opening-week score to attach to that movement.
University Christian climbs three spots to No. 9 after beating Ponte Vedra 31-29 at Shark Tank. Ponte Vedra falls three positions to No. 10.
The movement continues beyond the first 10, which matters in a region ranked 15 deep.
Ed White climbs two spots to No. 11 after a 42-40 overtime win over Trinity Christian. The Conquerors drop five positions to No. 13.
West Nassau falls three spots to No. 12 after a 14-14 tie against Charlton County (Ga.).
Fleming Island stays No. 14 after a 33-0 shutout of Atlantic Coast, while Middleburg remains No. 15 following a 23-6 win over Menendez.

Week 2 spotlight
Nease at St. Augustine is the headline game.
The Panthers travel to H.L. “Foots” Brumley Stadium on Friday with a chance to answer their opening loss against the region’s No. 2 team.
Bolles heads into Broward County for another significant matchup, visiting Archbishop McCarthy at Maverick Stadium.
University Christian and Trinity Christian meet at Conquerors Stadium. Ponte Vedra travels to Bishop Kenny at William H. Johnston Sr. Stadium.
Raines hosts Baldwin at Earl S. Kitchings Stadium.
Beachside, which just made a five-place jump, is open.
Northeast Florida already has several teams with meaningful early results. That makes the next few weeks especially important in determining whether Raines and St. Augustine continue to separate or whether the group behind them begins closing the gap.
Central Florida Gets Its First Major Shakeup
Central Florida may be the best example of why an early-season rankings update needs context beyond simply identifying who moved.
Lake Mary remains No. 1 with a 94.12 rating.
The Rams were open in Week 1.
That means their rating did not come from a new game result, but the preseason leader still had enough separation to remain on top while the rest of the region began rearranging itself.
Edgewater moves into the No. 2 position after beating Ocoee 34-6.
Jones falls one spot to No. 3 following a 27-0 loss to Santa Margarita (Calif.).
West Orange delivered one of the most significant wins in the region. The Warriors beat Archbishop Hoban (Ohio) 28-24 at Raymond Screws Field and jump four regional positions to No. 4.
The First Academy remains fifth, but its opening result will be difficult to ignore.
The Royals beat Dr. Phillips 58-7 at Warden Stadium.
Dr. Phillips drops six regional spots from No. 4 to No. 10, while The First Academy remains positioned directly behind West Orange with a 75.23 rating.
DeLand climbs one spot to No. 6 after beating Lake Wales 35-34.
Then comes the largest jump inside the Power 15.
Seminole rises nine positions, from No. 16 in the preseason to No. 7, after beating Mountain Vista (Colo.) 26-17 at Thomas E. Whigham Stadium.
Windermere climbs two spots to No. 8 after defeating Winter Park 29-26.
Spruce Creek moves up two places after a 14-10 win over Erie (Colo.).
Bishop Moore falls five spots to No. 11, but the Hornets’ 28-25 overtime loss to Hawthorne came against the No. 2 team in North Central Florida.
Mount Dora Christian jumps five places to No. 12 after beating NSU University School 49-35.
Lake Nona makes another substantial move, rising eight positions to No. 13 after defeating Evans 31-27 at Nemours Stadium. Evans drops six places to No. 15.
Boone climbs four spots to No. 14 after beating Apopka 21-14.
The result is a Central Florida Power 15 that looks considerably different from the preseason version after only one week.

Week 2 spotlight
The First Academy at Edgewater should tell us plenty.
The Royals take their 58-7 opening statement to Frank E. Lough Stadium to face the newly minted No. 2 team in the region.
Lake Mary finally gets its first regular-season result when Oviedo visits Doug Peters Field at Don T. Reynolds Stadium.
DeLand faces a much different kind of challenge with St. Frances Academy (Md.) coming to Spec Martin Memorial Stadium.
Seminole travels to Lake Howell at Richard L. Evans Stadium after making its nine-place jump.
Horizon visits West Orange at Raymond Screws Field, giving the Warriors a chance to build on the Archbishop Hoban win.
Jones is open. Like Lake Mary a week earlier, the Tigers will have to watch the rankings move around them without adding a result of their own.
Lakeland Still Leads, but Tampa Bay Is Already Shuffling Behind It
Tampa Bay is deep enough that a Top 10 does not tell the story.
The region goes 25 teams deep, and Week 1 created movement from the top of the list almost all the way to the bottom.
Lakeland remains No. 1 with a 92.84 rating after beating Kathleen 47-0.
Armwood stays second following a 17-7 win over Lennard, and Carrollwood Day remains third after an impressive 41-7 victory over Eau Gallie.
From there, the order begins changing.
Tampa Bay Tech moves to No. 4 after beating Lake Gibson 27-6. Mitchell rises to fifth after shutting out Gulf 37-0.
Clearwater Central Catholic moves to No. 6 following a 28-24 win over Palmetto, a useful cross-regional victory against a team that entered the season inside Southwest Florida’s Top 10.
Jesuit rises to No. 7 after shutting out SFA Academy 37-0.
Gaither climbs two places to No. 8 following a 56-0 win over Blake.
Lakeland Christian makes a three-place move to No. 9 after beating Santa Fe Catholic 81-7, one of the largest scoring margins anywhere in Week 1.
Sumner also moves three spots, reaching No. 10 after a 55-0 shutout of Strawberry Crest.
Lake Wales experiences the opposite end of the early-season volatility. The Highlanders fall seven regional positions to No. 11 after losing 35-34 to DeLand.
Clearwater climbs to No. 12 after beating East Lake 40-19, while Calvary Christian moves to No. 13 following a 36-9 victory over North Miami.
Zephyrhills drops five spots to No. 14 after losing 31-14 to The Villages.
St. Petersburg Catholic climbs three spots to No. 15 after beating Gibbs 41-26.
Lakewood slides five spots to No. 16, but the result deserves context. The Spartans lost only 20-18 to Miami Northwestern, the No. 3 team in South Florida and No. 6 statewide.
Plant City and Auburndale were both open in Week 1. They now sit Nos. 17 and 18, respectively, as results elsewhere changed the order around them.
Plant makes one of the biggest moves in the middle of the Power 25, climbing eight places to No. 19 after defeating Manatee 33-26.
Nature Coast moves up four spots to No. 20 after beating Bartow 16-6.
Frostproof jumps eight positions to No. 21 following a 28-21 win over LaBelle.
Then come two of the largest moves in the region.
Seffner Christian climbs 10 places to No. 22 after shutting out Legacy Charter 62-0.
Keswick Christian also moves up 10 positions, reaching No. 24 after a 20-0 shutout of Cambridge Christian.
River Ridge sits between them at No. 23 after a 34-21 win over Northside Christian.
Wiregrass Ranch falls nine positions to No. 25 after losing 24-21 at South Sumter.
The net result is a Tampa Bay ranking with the same three teams at the top but considerably different traffic underneath them.

Week 2 spotlight
No. 4 Tampa Bay Tech at No. 10 Sumner is the obvious regional game to circle.
The Titans travel to Stingray Stadium on Friday, and both teams arrive after convincing opening-week wins.
Armwood leaves Florida for a game against Don Bosco Prep (N.J.) at Granatell Stadium.
Clearwater Central Catholic hosts Port Charlotte at James Brian Thomas Stadium in another intriguing cross-regional matchup. Port Charlotte sits No. 4 in Southwest Florida.
Plant gets a chance to validate its eight-place jump when it travels to No. 8 Gaither at Ron Allen Field.
Jesuit visits Bishop Verot at Viking Stadium, while Carrollwood Day goes to River Ridge at James Valentine Stadium.
Lakeland is open.
That leaves the regional leader standing still for a week while a deep collection of teams below it adds another round of results.
IMG Academy National Still Has Plenty of Room in Southwest Florida
IMG Academy National remains not only No. 1 in Southwest Florida but the highest-rated team in the statewide rankings.
The Ascenders carry a 104.35 rating after opening with a 59-3 win over Lone Peak (Utah).
Cardinal Mooney remains No. 2 at 93.70 after beating Berkeley Prep 39-21.
Venice holds third after a far more dramatic opener, surviving Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Ga.) 42-40 in overtime.
Port Charlotte remains fourth following a 63-26 win over Cape Coral.
The top four did not move, but the back half of the regional Power 10 did.
Riverdale rises three positions to No. 5 after beating Estero 24-20.
IMG Academy Junior National climbs five spots to No. 6 after shutting out Zarephath Academy 47-0.
Riverview makes the biggest move near the middle, jumping six positions to No. 7 after beating Naples 42-21.
That result sends a clear early signal because Naples opened the season as one of the region’s more highly regarded programs. The Golden Eagles now sit outside the Power 10 at No. 12 regionally.
Manatee falls two places to No. 8 after a 33-26 loss to Plant.
Palmetto drops two positions to No. 9 following its 28-24 loss to Clearwater Central Catholic.
Out-of-Door makes the biggest move in the Top 10, jumping eight regional positions to No. 10 after shutting out Babcock 56-0.

Week 2 spotlight
One of the best cross-regional games in Florida comes to Austin Smithers Stadium on Friday.
Cardinal Newman, No. 4 in South Florida and No. 9 statewide, travels across the state to face No. 2 Cardinal Mooney.
Port Charlotte goes to Clearwater Central Catholic at James Brian Thomas Stadium.
Riverview visits IMG Academy Junior National at IMG Academy Stadium, creating a head-to-head matchup between Nos. 7 and 6 in the region.
Manatee hosts Naples at Joe Kinnan Field at Hawkins Stadium. Both programs have an opportunity to answer after opening losses.
IMG Academy National hosts Cornerstone Christian (Texas) on Saturday at IMG Academy Stadium.
Venice welcomes SmartEn Sports Academy to Powell-Davis Stadium.
The top of Southwest Florida still looks familiar. The middle of the region already does not.
Merritt Island Makes the Loudest Statement on the Space & Treasure Coast
Vero Beach remains No. 1 on the Space & Treasure Coast.
The Indians opened with a 34-0 shutout of Jensen Beach and hold an 83.01 rating.
Cocoa remains No. 2.
But that requires context after what happened in Week 1.
Merritt Island went to Dick Blake Stadium and beat Cocoa 44-19.
The Mustangs climb two regional positions to No. 3, while Cocoa’s rating drops to 67.91. Merritt Island is now at 64.15, dramatically reducing what had been a sizable preseason gap between the two.
One week does not erase Cocoa’s broader rating profile, but the head-to-head result changes the conversation immediately.
Eau Gallie drops one position to No. 4 after losing 41-7 to Carrollwood Day.
Fort Pierce Central climbs two places to No. 5 after shutting out Legacy 49-0.
John Carroll stays sixth following a 17-0 shutout of Bishop Verot.
Titusville rises two positions to No. 7 after beating Oviedo 24-22 at Al Werneke Field.
Melbourne Central Catholic climbs two spots to No. 8 after defeating Victory Christian 44-12.
The largest movement belongs to Satellite.
The Scorpions jump nine regional positions to No. 9 after a 52-0 win over Halifax Academy.
Viera moves up three spots to complete the Power 10 after beating Rockledge 25-20.

Week 2 spotlight
The region gets two especially useful measuring-stick games.
Atlantic, No. 9 in South Florida, travels to the Citrus Bowl at Billy Livings Field to face No. 1 Vero Beach.
Fort Pierce Central travels to Cocoa at Dick Blake Stadium.
That second matchup is particularly intriguing. Cocoa has an immediate opportunity to respond after the Merritt Island loss, while Fort Pierce Central comes in after a 49-point shutout.
Merritt Island visits Melbourne at Tom McIntyre Stadium.
John Carroll travels to Glades Central at Dr. Effie Grear Stadium, and Benjamin visits Melbourne Central Catholic at Hustler Stadium.
After Merritt Island’s Week 1 result, the gap behind Vero Beach suddenly looks much less settled.
West Boca Raton Shakes Up South Florida Before a National Showcase Weekend
South Florida began the season with the deepest regional field in the state.
One week later, it also has one of the most interesting.
St. Thomas Aquinas remains No. 1 with a 96.64 rating after shutting out Western 42-0.
The first major change comes directly behind the Raiders.
West Boca Raton climbs two spots to No. 2 after beating American Heritage (Plantation) 24-7 at Heritage Field.
That result moves the Bulls to a 96.26 rating, only 0.38 behind St. Thomas Aquinas.
It also sends American Heritage in the opposite direction. The Patriots drop three regional positions from No. 3 to No. 6.
Miami Northwestern slides one spot to No. 3 despite beating Lakewood 20-18. That was a considerably tighter game than the preseason separation between the teams suggested, but Northwestern still leaves St. Petersburg with a win.
Cardinal Newman moves up to No. 4 after beating Community School of Naples 37-7.
Chaminade-Madonna climbs one spot to No. 5 after defeating Monarch 49-21.
West Broward rises to No. 7 despite being open in Week 1. With no new result of its own, the Bobcats benefited from movement elsewhere in an extremely fluid region.
Miami Central falls one place to No. 8 after edging Orange Lutheran (Calif.) 23-22.
Atlantic moves into the Top 10 following an 18-7 win over Spanish River.
Archbishop McCarthy rises to No. 10 even though its scheduled game against Royal Palm Beach was postponed. No completed Week 1 result from that matchup entered the system.
The depth becomes even more apparent beyond the first 10.
Miami Norland moves up to No. 11 after shutting out South Dade 20-0.
American Heritage (Delray Beach) rises to No. 12 after beating Somerset Academy 49-12.
Immaculata-La Salle is No. 13 following a 33-14 victory over Booker T. Washington.
Jupiter climbs two places to No. 14 after shutting out Dwyer 46-0.
True North remains No. 15 after its game with BridgePrep Village Green was canceled. The Titans enter Week 2 without a completed regular-season result.
Dillard moves up to No. 16 after beating Piper 44-21.
Then the rankings get particularly volatile.
Miami Southridge falls eight positions to No. 17 after losing 45-7 to Columbus.

Miami Palmetto rises two spots to No. 18 after shutting out Miami Killian 35-0.
Cardinal Gibbons remains No. 19 after beating Miramar 14-7.
Palm Beach Central climbs four positions to No. 21 following a 14-9 win over Glades Central.

Miami Carol City makes an even larger move.
The Chiefs jump 15 positions to No. 23 after defeating Mainland 38-3 at Daytona Stadium.
Coconut Creek rises 10 places to No. 24 after shutting out Plantation 48-0.
NSU University School falls three spots to No. 25 after losing 49-35 at Mount Dora Christian.
There are 25 teams in this regional ranking, and after only one week, movement has occurred at nearly every level.

Broward County Showcase puts South Florida in the national spotlight
There is no easing into Week 2 for South Florida.
The Broward County Showcase brings another collection of high-profile interstate games to Broward County, and several teams near the top of these rankings will be involved.
The event opens Thursday with West Broward facing McEachern (Ga.) at 7 p.m. at Western HS Stadium.
West Broward did not play in Week 1, so the Bobcats’ first completed regular-season result could come against an out-of-state opponent on a showcase stage.
Also Thursday, Chaminade-Madonna faces Sierra Canyon (Calif.) at 7 p.m. at Heritage Field.
The Lions already have a 49-21 victory over Monarch. Sierra Canyon provides an entirely different measuring stick and another important piece of interstate data for the FPRI.
Friday brings East St. Louis (Ill.) to Heritage Field for a 7 p.m. game against American Heritage (Plantation).
The timing makes that matchup especially interesting. American Heritage is coming off the 24-7 loss to West Boca and does not get a soft landing. The Patriots immediately move into another prominent interstate matchup with an opportunity to change the early direction of their season.
Bolles also travels south Friday to face Archbishop McCarthy at 7 p.m. at Maverick Stadium. That matchup connects two regional ranking systems: Bolles is No. 4 in Northeast Florida, while McCarthy has moved into the South Florida Top 10.
True North visits Coconut Creek at 7:30 p.m. at Don Conkel Stadium.
That game has an unusual setup. True North did not get to play its opener because of a cancellation. Coconut Creek just beat Plantation 48-0 and jumped 10 spots in the South Florida rankings.
Saturday shifts the Showcase to Brian Piccolo Stadium.
Columbus faces Bishop Gorman (Nev.) at 2 p.m.
That is a significant escalation in competition for an Explorers team coming off a 45-7 win over Miami Southridge and a 13-place regional jump.
Then St. Thomas Aquinas faces DeSoto (Texas) at 6 p.m.
The Raiders begin the week No. 1 in South Florida and No. 3 statewide. West Boca is now less than half a rating point behind them regionally. A game against DeSoto gives St. Thomas Aquinas a chance to add a substantial data point while West Boca sits idle.
That dynamic alone makes Saturday worth watching from an FPRI perspective.
And South Florida has more beyond the Showcase
The Showcase is the centerpiece, not the entire schedule.
Miami Northwestern faces Miami Jackson on Thursday at Nathaniel Traz Powell Stadium.
Cardinal Newman travels across the state Friday to face Cardinal Mooney at Austin Smithers Stadium. It matches South Florida’s No. 4 team against Southwest Florida’s No. 2.
Atlantic visits Vero Beach at the Citrus Bowl at Billy Livings Field, putting South Florida’s No. 9 team against the No. 1 team on the Space & Treasure Coast.
Miami Norland travels to Ocala to face Vanguard at Booster Stadium.
Dillard hosts St. Peter’s Prep (N.J.) at 5 p.m. Saturday at Otis Gray Jr. Memorial Stadium.
Miami Carol City, fresh off its 15-place surge, heads to Georgia to play Lee County at Trojan Stadium.
West Boca Raton and Miami Central are both open.
For West Boca in particular, that means the Bulls will sit at No. 2 while St. Thomas Aquinas, Miami Northwestern, Cardinal Newman, Chaminade-Madonna and American Heritage all have opportunities to add another week of results.
South Florida was always going to be volatile.
Week 2 has the schedule to accelerate it.
One Week In, the Regional Rankings Already Mean Something Different
The preseason rankings answered a hypothetical question: Where does everyone stand before the games count?
That question is already becoming obsolete.
West Boca Raton has beaten American Heritage.
Columbia has beaten Bolles.
Merritt Island has beaten Cocoa.
The First Academy has beaten Dr. Phillips by 51 points.
Seminole has beaten an out-of-state opponent and climbed nine regional spots.
South Sumter has beaten Wiregrass Ranch.
Columbus has turned a preseason gap with Miami Southridge into a 45-7 result.
Miami Carol City and Coconut Creek have forced their way into the South Florida Power 25.
Those are actual data points now, and there will be hundreds more.
Week 2 adds Pace-Pensacola Catholic, Nease-St. Augustine, The First Academy-Edgewater, Tampa Bay Tech-Sumner, Cardinal Newman-Cardinal Mooney, Atlantic-Vero Beach and Fort Pierce Central-Cocoa.
Then the Broward County Showcase layers nationally relevant interstate games on top of an already loaded Florida schedule.
The rankings should move.
At this point in the season, that is exactly what they are supposed to do.
The preseason established the baseline.
The games are beginning to replace it.
