Nothing to write home about but its halfway decent for a PInellas team with centralized funding limitations (the county doesn't really want to pay for you to travel and play out of county teams even though they collect all the funds). Spring Game @ CCC Fall Classic vs Cocoa - Lessoned learned from the Butt whooping from Cocoa last year that helped throughout the seasons 1 Dunedin - Rivalry... Hurts more than helps but it sucks to lose the rival (might need to happen soon) 2 @ Braden River - Good get for both teams based on points that can be earned and a tough test for Clw early on 3 @ Countryside- Rival and hopefully get some points if they can make playoffs this year 4 @ Northeast* 5 Mitchell - I would have went another route, the HC tried to schedule a Sarasota or Polk team but it didn't work out. At least you will get some points as Mitch will make playoffs. 6 @ Osceola* 7 Bye 8 Dixie* 9 Bogie* 10 Largo* 11 @ East Lake - New rival as both are going to be the best public school teams in Pinellas for some time to come This team is replacing a lot but winning the district should be easy again. Not sure how they will fare in the playoffs but I think last years team was much better.

Its a decent schedule but nothing to brag about. Like Clearwater has a solid schedule for a Pinellas County team but its nothing to brag about.

You kinda remind me of a kid I went to school with... He wasn't able to play the game with us but he was very enthusiastic about helping the program in any way. (He was our game announcer (probably the only student in our county to do it), our JR year and then when a new coach was hired we introduced him to him and he made him the team manager and helped the coach out with breaking down film, all the administrative duties and fund raising stuff. Kid went to college on his own merit and became some sort of team manager intern at FSU and later got a full time position after graduating at VSU and ended up eventually at UGA under Richt. I am sure he is still doing it now not sure where but he made a career out of being an enthusiastic participate.

Which is how it should be because lets be honest... Every Team Pahokee beat in the playoffs would have beaten Baker as well.

I know Fitz, he is a good dude not sure how much that will hurt though. Roberson is being replaced by Davis so that is an upgrade of course but Scargle is a beast... replacing him will not be easy. I wonder why Fitz is leaving he has been apart of the program for a very long time.

I don't have any inside knowledge but based on the comments in the Tampa Bay Times I have to assume it has something to do with folks not liking Coach Harvey's ways hence why Davis was brought back in... actually its the opposite... They lost 2 D1 players and according to someone from a rival school will lose 2 or 3 more this summer.

It has been an adverse affect though... Burney and Ferguson left for Calvary while having some disparaging words for Coach Harvey and company in the Tampa Bay times and the other kid went to IMG (probably thinking they will turn him into a D1 star).
