  1. How is Seminole's o-line? I know the run defense can be exploited which works in DPs favor. Marvin has been good at checking down to the flats on called runs this year
  2. Agree w DB, nice write up
  3. Orlando Dr. Phillips @ Sanford Seminole Miami Southridge @Vero Beach DP's defense faced what could have been their achilles heel against Vero Beach. Seminole has not seen a defense this fast all season and will need to air it out or else they will be eaten alive. I thought Vero had a shot last night but in this one I'm going with DP. The defense is very good and Marvin Washington has been great running and throwing the ball. Seminole has given up A LOT of points against good running teams. That being said Seminole's two offensive studs can break any play open. I think they'll score 1-2 long TDs but struggle driving the ball. In the other game I like Southridge because of their defense. Their QB flings it and they have a ton of athletes in the backfield. DP 28-21 Southridge 16-7
  4. We couldn't stop the pass. Can't see who could. QB gets it out so quick. WE WILL REPRESENT
  5. Great game, 34-24 DP, teams were about even. Wow Vero what a QB and that Smith WR is the real deal
  6. Not sure who. Two to Olympia, two to Bishop Moore, two to TFA, one to Washigton DC.
  7. DP Season Stats... lots of guys have scored. Tanner Ingle has 5 return TDs but hasn't played offense. Probably will next year http://dpathletics.ocps.net/forms/SeasonStats2016.doc
  8. Use Hudl Rivals hasn't analyzed most. With D1 offers (commit in parenthesis) LB Dylan Meeks DE Robert Porcher (Nebraska) LB/DE Nick Smith (NC State) DB DJ Charles (FAU) DB Tanner Ingle jr QB Marvin Washington (UCF) RB Xandre McCleary WR Emare Hogan (USF) WR Davarius Bargnare jr OL John Campbell jr D1 Underclassmen, no offers yet (my opinion only) DE/LB Joe Gulla jr S Marcus Tillman so LB Stephen Dix fr RB Devodney Alford jr RB Brandon Fields fr WR Jequan Burton jr LB J Powell so Jr DL Some seniors are veterans who can play in college. WR Walls, DB Caldwell, RB Kenny Palmer.. other DBs shuffle in and have played very well We actually had a 5star OL and 3star DB transfer out this summer
  9. Rivals doesn't list a lot of them. They've done a terrible job updating their recruits... 10 have D1 offers currently but many more to come
  10. I like Southridge in the south.
  11. Winner routes Seminole.
  12. ^ same
  13. 2016 is better. The 2017 class is loaded especially on defense. Last year the team was mostly juniors. Remember last year Osceola beat DP 20-19 on a pick 6 and West Orange scored 2TDs in the last minute to beat them. DP had their worst outings of the year against Mainland, Olympia (24-14) and Freedom (38-0) this year. The Apopka game came down to the last play and DP was on the 5. Apopka and DP are about even but we all know what happened to APK.
  14. iice cold docta peppa heayaaaa
  15. they are toxic... some bad eggs on that board. i mean really bad people.
  16. Huge game. Dr. Phillips defense has set school records for turnovers and scores. DP blanked Sarasota Riverview (41ppg coming in) 21-0. Many DP drives stalled deep in SR territory. DP also held its own twoce in the red zone, the first when Riverview took the opening kick back 70 yards. This DP defense is stacked now that everybody is healthy. 8.9 ppg allowed through 12 games Will be interesting.
  17. Marvin Washington DP, 1600yds, 18-3 TD/INT, 500 rush yds. UCF commit
  18. DP defense LB Dylan Meeks - tons of offers LB Nick Smith - NC State DE Robert Porcher - Nebraska SS DJ Charles - FAU FS Tanner Ingle - multiple offers I expect about 5-6 more underclassmen to get offers as well on the defense. DE/LB Gulla will get big offers. Some are freshman and sophomores who get good playing time. Offense has five D1 offers at QB (UCF), RB, WR, WR, OL... a third WR (jr) will go D1. Two impact freshmen (Stephen Dix and Brandon Fields) are future stars.
  19. The AP has had DP unranked for like 6 weeks. Lost to Apopka and Mainland but 6-0 since. Defense has given up 9.7 points per game this year.
  20. Apopka still a top team in 8A. Last night was a fluke but give props to Timber Creek. I REALLY like their coach and have for years. One of the best in Central Florida. 85% of the time or so Apopka wins that game IMO. Now it's opened up big time for Seminole. They should be in the final four. I think DP and Riverview will be a great game. Their offense is very good but so is our D.
  21. There is no more setting up for disappointment. Every year there is a close loss so why not ride a wave of enthusiasm for once and not get scared of getting knocked out? A little mojo is what is needed. Riverview is very good. We will see what happens. DP Middle LB Dylan Meeks, the team leader, came back last night for the first time after an offseason injury. That has shifted the front 7 (where there are at least 5 D1 guys) to where they are confortable. The defense just got much better. All I'm saying is they looked good. They finally put it together. I don't care how bad you all think Manatee is, our throws were crisp, the defense was fast and the special teams did a great job. Mainland is on another level. Under rated. They are elite. They would probably beat DP by 10-14 on an average night.
  22. DP looks damn good.
  23. DP waxed Manatee. Could have been worse without penalties. PEAKING. Watch out AP pollsters who gave DP ZERO votes in 8A
  24. Doesn't make sense to CLEARLY call out Jones and then when somebody actually defends them you just say it was a joke. Not how the world works. Jones probably wants to play against teams in Orlando. Not too much of a stretch there.
  25. Manatee can beat DP if DP has an off game like they did against Olympia. Panthers haven't missed the second round since 2005. I believe 8A North will crown either Apopka, DP, Seminole or Osceola. Vero Beach is #5 to me still. Any of those five would compete in the title against the south.
