For some reason I have a feeling Tech is gonna get upset 

Looks like Melbourne just closed out the win vs Centennial 28-16 so it does raise the question whether 4 teams out of that district were deserving.  Harmony was a surprise getting in but to their credit they won a tight one vs Palm Bay (13-12) who just won a playoff game and lost a tight one vs Melbourne (9-7) who did the same.  What I think is clearer outside the #1 and #2 seeds, the teams they put in the top half of our Region would have probably all lost in the first round vs any of the the teams in the bottom half.  In other words, Vero has gotten served up all cupcakes while our end not so much.  

Hats off to Sumner, a baby program. Talented, well coached. Coach Ashwood will have them as a serious contender in another year or two. 
Much Bigger and more athletic than Plant. Plant won a squeaker 37-34 at home thanks to big plays (ko return for TD, defensive TD, long bomb for TD, and 4 or 5 other chunk plays). Home field big for Plant in this one. 
Even if they go out next week Plant has had quite a turnaround under Coach Brown. Congrats. Sumner will be a force with Ashwood at the helm. 

Its gonna be the same as the district championship game. Go up big in the first half then cruise

Palm Bay won't beat Cocoa either. Get your mops out! Lol

Y'all still picked up the win against a tough team and those players got more experience in a hard fought game

My gut was telling me Crestview would get the win but my mind kept telling me Niceville at home they will win. 

Happy Coach Beek took me up on my offer and both he and his son joined us for the game last night.  Thanks Coach for the company and sharing some insights on your Poinciana team.   Not one of our better outings but a win nonetheless and some crazy officiating throughout especially for a playoff game.  Please JamBun, don't ask for details.

I don’t think TBT loses to Fletcher regardless. They can compete with anyone in the class other than STA. 
TBT does get some weird results. Should have probably lost to Plant despite being better than Plant. Probably should have competed much better with Jesuit, who is nowhere as good as last year. Armwood game was controversially decided. Yet they dominated and shut out a very good Wharton team. 

Honestly I’ll say this. Defensively their much improved with some key pieces from Deerfield. Offensively outside of the two turnovers we gifted them on our own end they couldn’t move the ball against us at all. 
 
overall, with their additions from Deerfield as a team they’re able to beat the bottom feeders in the state, but do I see them beating Dillard in a 4 game quarter or competing with STA not at all. They’re no longer the dumpster fire they was the last few years, but I do believe they’re a year or 2 away of consistent good productivity from getting back to the ely of old. 

Yeah, still dealing with some injury issues to key players and that has had an impact.  That said, others will have to step up and fill the void as I am sure many teams are dealing with this also.  Will definitely need to play better to win against TC next week, but hey it's the playoffs.  Just win and advance.

Osceola had a very nice win last night. Deland is much tougher than many think. Regardless, survive and advance is the name of the game!

Why does it feel like Harmony is going to give Vero fits tonight? Not win but come close to an upset. Maybe it's just me?

Yup I commented on that outcome as it was a bit surprising, not so much the winner as the margin.

So apparently I have had to bat back again against some spammy issues, but it doesn't seem to be affecting the forums, but more so the main website. Finally the server company is listening to me. In the mean time I might have found where the new issue cropped in at and handled it once I got back from the wild and amazing game between Buchholz and Pace. That game was playoff football!

As for Vero vs TC rematch I think those 2 would have one heck of a battle if they make it to regional finals
