Presume you mean CJ Smith -- per the Sun-Sentinel he broke his hand and is instead visiting Nebraska.
Yes I meant Smith. Yea that’s what the media was told.

It was a great game. Cold, but great. Oxbridge showed some character by fighting back after going down 2 TDs. Shivers is very good. Has great balance to go along with that speed. #55 for Chaminade control the LOS on both sides of the ball. Shivers did good on the last drive, but that QB scramble for 21 was the game saver.

Oxbridge’s Safety/WR CJ. Jones is not here.

Nortwestern’s side was flooded. Folks begged for them to either open an end zone or mid level I which the officials refused. It was really bunched up there.
-
I enjoyed the Nortwestern crowd this game. This was also a great game on the field. Armwood just couldn’t block the NW front. Especially the LG. He had a tough time in one on one situations, which brought immediate pressure in the QB’s face in crunch situations.

Madison just capitalized off of a turnover

I'm excited about this one. This may be the best game all weekend.

Looks like Madison came out passing the ball. That surely isn't a strength. They got back into their strength of running the ball and scored 2 touchdowns. Blountstown running game is looking pretty strong itself. Should be an interesting 2nd half.

Looks like Blountstown did not show up to be blown out.

I'm just wondering if the constant transferring of players in and out isn't taking a toll on some of these coaches. They are trying all summer to put a viable team together and players up and leave at various times and for various reasons. Maybe other players arrive that have to be brought up to speed quickly. Many of these coaches are giving a lot of their time and effort and are probably not getting paid much or not being paid at all. At least, before the allowing of transfers anywhere at anytime, the coach knew that most of the players he worked with would still be there after the summer. Doesn't seem to be much dedication, on the part of many players, to either the school or the coaching staff anymore. Just a what's in it for me attitude.
Your last statement pretty much sums it up.

Village Academy (FL): Rod Huggins is out as head coach after a winless season where they had to forfeit almost half of their games.
Delray Atlantic and Delray American Heritage really wiped this school out. They may lose their team soon.

Which games is everyone attending? I will be checking out the 3A, 5A, and 6A games,

I would never want newspaper and ap voters determining who goes to playoffs or state championships
Those voters for most part are bias and would create a lot of issues
Before the playoff era state champions were determined by newspaper votes
Columbia was undefeated 5 times, never once voted state champs
Why? Because metro media holds more weight then small town media and you would see metro teams always getting the nod in a system like that
As darter said it would be a step in the wrong direction
Florida and voting is not good together on any level. LOL

Add P.K. Young and Port Orange-Atlantic to the list.

Eau Gallie High School (Melbourne) is now looking for a Head Coach.

Madison has a rabid fan base
It's not a bad thing but if you on other side of it then it's incredibly annoying
But i can't critize too much
I'm basically same way with Columbia that they are with Madison
I hype up any win and try to downplay any loss
That's understandable, but every time the conversations shifts to Blountstown, somehow they get it back to Pahokee. I guess that is a compliment to Pahokee.

Cubit left after 1 season? Must be another College Job calling.

Looks like most of Wellington's Staff was either fired or they resigned. According to FHSAA website, they are advertising plenty of positions.

Who's degrading kids ? I was just pointing out the facts . Pahokee hit a couple big pass plays in the 1st half but the QB was on the run most of the 2nd . If they were as vulnerable as you say then Pahokee should be heading to Orlando .
I said I won’t degrade kids, because I didn’t see what you saw with him locking down WRs. As for PK QB on the run, it definitely wasn’t because of pressure. He definitely had the time. He is just not a pocket passer that if he doesn’t find his target now, he pulls down and run. More of an athlete than QB. But, all of that is done and over with. This is Madison’s year. Finish it and see can you make it a dynasty.

Madison was vulnerable against the pass because they played man coverage with no safety in the middle against Pahokee . They weren't gonna let the run beat them and as Pahokee found out late in the game you DO NOT throw the ball to #18 , Travis Jay , he'll gobble up everything . USF is getting a good one .
If thats what you saw then so be it. I don't degrade kids, so "gobble" away. lol
