You're thinking of the NFL rule. When yall played Stranahan, the same rule went into account that I said. Stranahan had the first chance to score and since they didn't, you guys would win with any score. Had you guys also not scored, then Dillard would have started the 2nd overtime with the ball and even if yall did score, Stranahan would have had a chance to match it.

If neither team scored in the first OT, and Southridge scored on the 1st possession of the second OT, Booker T has one last drive to score. They scored and got the extra point. Game Tornadoes.

Well it's not the same Western team as the one that went to the playoffs last season, there are a lot of differences, though they are still a good team and Dillard absolutely deserves credit for the victory. And I personally don't think Booker T Washington is a powerhouse anymore. They're a good school but they just got handled against Central. To me, BTW will be a good, not great, and they're living off prior reputation a lot at this point. The Jackson win, though not a regular season game, was very good for Dillard. Like I said, if Dillard was ranked, I wouldn't see an issue with it at all. Being ranked or not ranked in a week 3 poll is no big deal.

I just now noticed but PBC has a really weak non-district schedule (Atlantic being the notable exception). I mean, Braddock and Ferguson? What? You couldn't find some better schools to play in PBC? Or even better schools in Dade or Broward? Braddock is an okay team. Ferguson is not. Palm Bay and John I Leonard. Very underwhelming. For a team that is considered an 8A state contender, it's weak.

I'm more than likely either going to Western/Hallandale or Carol City/Columbus.

I don't hate Taravella being at 20. I don't love it, but they've had a nice start. They can validate the ranking if they beat the OOS opponent in Coffee (GA) this week. If you ranked Dillard from 18-20 I wouldn't have a huge problem, but if they were just on the outside, I wouldn't have a problem either. Like Taravella, Dillard can prove they belong by beating a Gibbons team that is probably still favored to win this week.

I can’t speak on Braden River but Venice will handily beat Champagnat. This is not last years team

Shoutout to Columbus. That game next week against a Carol City could be a doozy.

Piper/STA will be one to watch. STA looked dominant last week, and Piper shocked most people by beating Norland. Now we get to see if Piper is for real. Shame I won't be able to get to the game.
