I've be seeing on Twitter that LG and Lakeland have been loading up with transfers.

Dillard and Lake Gibson battling it out to see who can bring in the most big time transfers amongst public schools lol.

I'll be surprised if MC doesn't roll by 50+. The other two games have a chance to be competitive, but I wouldn't count on that either. I even think Venice rolls by 20. CG vs Cocoa should be the best game of the bunch. I keep going back and forth on that one.

My bad, it was CalPreps projection system and not Prep gridirons lol. Not sure why I said PG originally. But anyhow, their projections hit at over an 80% rate so we can't just throw them out the window. I still think Dillard wins anyhow, just throwing that news out there.

This was the last team to beat IMG. Since then, IMG has won 20 in a row. Should be a good game. 24-17 IMG

I didn't miss any 8A games either. It was certainly the easiest of classes to predict. I didn't give Lehigh enough credit though. They steamrolled Gaither! Wharton handled their business against Mitchell as expected. Palmetto completely shut down the high powered Wiregrass passing attack. I think Palmetto vs Tech will be very interesting. I'll probably pick Tech but I wouldn't count Palmetto out either way.

Wiregrass D struggling to stop the Tigers. Wiregrass QB Rocco Becht (Iowa St commit), son of former 1st round pick TE Anthony Becht, has looked pretty solid. He's a little slight in size, but has a very live arm. Threw a 60 yard bomb in stride earlier to the end zone that went thru the receiver's hands.

Probably should have rolled with the computer on this one. Braden River by double digits.

REGION 3 QUARTERFINALS Tampa Bay Tech 31 over Largo Wiregrass Ranch 17 over Palmetto Lehigh 12 over Gaither Mitchell 13 over Wharton Probably looking at a 1-3 record here. Tech is gonna roll and maybe, just maybe, Lehigh can squeak one out against Gaither. My money is on Gaither though. There's no way in hell that Wiregrass is beating Palmetto by 17. The opposite is the more likely outcome. Mitchell and Wharton should be a good game, but gimme Wharton by 6.
