Look at 5a: Lakeland, Edgewater, TBT, Manatee, Atlantic, STA, Ely…..6a: Nease, Buchholtz, Mandarin, Armwood, Kiss Osceola, West Boca, South Ridge, Monarch, Homestead……That’s competition. At least before Central came clean with their 20 yr old, there was at least 1 game in 3a that woulda been competitive……SMH

A bit confused here. Are district champions given 1-4 seeds or just an at large bid according to their ranking? Are the State semifinals still seeded 1-4 according to their rankings? thanks

My wife of 41 years is from Kingston 6 Jamaica. When the kids were young we would go over a couple times a year. Her mom lived on Wellington Dr (St Andrews) which runs parallel with Old Hope (Liganeau)Road.

Here’s a number of schools that do pack em in. Games I’ve been this & last season: Delray Atlantic, Western, Cardinal Newman, Naples, Dillard, Chaminade, Lake Wales, South Broward, just off the top of my head. Some schools that don’t, depending on the opponent: Gibbons, Aquinas, AHP. Of course STA/AHP was jammed last Friday.

What the bottom line is, which usually gets buried, IF THE TEAM (allegedly) BROKE RULES, THE FAULT IS WITH THE TEAM!!!! END OF STORY!!!!! You can woulda, coulda, shoulda till your lips fall off……SMH

I think the 2 hour drive would be worth it to watch this clash! Highlanders at home have a solid homefield advantage. They’ve come up short on the road vs their 2 toughest games, but weren’t overwhelmed. They’re a hard out. Kowboys looking solid, especially that D(I can only go by the numbers)! Last time I went to a Lake Wales game, they clobbered Columbia in the playoffs. They jumped on the Tigers fast! Kowboys gotta be ready soon as they get off the bus! Playing with the numbers( SOS, HF, O, D, Common opp etc….) I’ve got the Kowboys by a hair. Haven’t seen either team this year so eye test is eliminated in my pick!

Interesting…….Couple things if it’s true: *Who blew the whistle? AHP? No one knows South Florida football, like South Florida! * Norland expelled from the playoffs? I don’t think so. FHSAA hates to cross the WPB border, entering in So Flo, to try & stop the runaway train!!! Hand slap! * So Flo feels impervious to the impotent & weak arm of the FHSAA, so they’re gonna do what they want!!!
