That's how I've been picking games the last three years.   

You had to opt out before you knew if you were in or not.   Pensacola probably didn't think they were going to be in so they didn't bother to opt out.  That would be my guess.  

The open division should automatically include STA.  

Yeah, Miramar is in it. Lol.

So if that was the case then that would be ok. But that would never happen. If they just called the open winner the “state champion” and the rest of the winners the “Gold bracket champ”, “silver bracket champ” etc etc Only the FHSAA can take something that is the worst in history and make it worse!
