I give you a lot of credit, Dillardboy. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone that is as dedicated a fan of a high school team as you.
As you probably already know, I was at the game with Dillardboy. He was getting the Dillard crowd to make noise to support the team throughout the game. When things kind of slowed down in the second half a young lady turned around and pleaded with him to get the Dillard crowd going again. When it came apparent the Panthers were not going to win the game the Dillard fans filed out quickly. Not Dillardboy. He stayed to the very end and even watched the celebration. That was really hard to see as a Panther fan.
The post season begins this week for D2, D3 and NAIA football teams. College can be a bit more unpredictable than high school. This year the index is 3029-909 .769 for all levels of four-year teams.
