Week 11 FHSAA RPI Class 3A Football Playoff Rankings

10 weeks are in the books for the 2021 Florida high school football season and the FHSAA has released their latest look at the RPI football playoff rankings as we head into the final week of the regular season. As such this is going to be our last RPI breakdown for the 2021 season.

As such, this update provides the entire state a glimpse of what the potential playoff matchups could be looking like come the second week of November, but remember things change, as we still have three weeks worth of games (including this week) to go, however, the playoff picture has become much clearer with some teams already done for the regular season and other teams having one game remaining.

In Classes 5A-8A, district record was taken into consideration except on certain exceptions which are noted.

For Class 3A, you will find a breakdown of RPI rankings for each team in every region and a projected seeding (including tiebreakers) based upon the guidelines as published by the FHSAA (click here to view), as well as quick thoughts about each region.

REGION 1

PROJECTED REGIONAL QUARTERFINAL PAIRINGS

No. 1 Trinity Catholic – BYE
No. 5 Episcopal vs. No. 4 P.K. Yonge
No. 6 Crescent City vs. No. 3 Florida High
No. 2 Walton – BYE

QUICK THOUGHTS: Florida High fell from the No. 1 seed to the No. 3 seed despite taking a forfeit win over FAMU DRS last week. As such Trinity Catholic and Walton have moved into the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds overall in the region. Another big change in the region is P.K. Yonge surging in all the way to the No. 4 seed after being on the bubble last week while Episcopal and Crescent City fall back to the No. 5 and No. 6 with Pensacola Catholic on the bubble at No. 7.

QUICK THOUGHTS: No shifts once again in the seeding this week and we don’t believe any changes will happen in the order of the seeds when the bracket comes out on Sunday.
