Talent gap from previous years is real and as you point out, they are experimenting with different players to find something that works offensively.  Their primary RB for this season sat out the entire game last week due to a suspension from a bone headed move during the KickOff Classic the previous Friday.   St. Cloud's only offensive TD came on what in my opinion ended up being simply a lucky throw into the corner of the endzone with the WR falling out of bounds, which from our angle look like he may have not even got both feet down and even may have trapped the ball as he rolled on the ground.  So the defense pretty well held them in check all night despite 3 or 4 turnovers, plus penalties and plenty offensive ineptitude.  Gonna have to get some help from the better athletes on that side of the ball by playing more both ways.  My hope is that they can squeeze out a 5-5 season with good possibility of not making the playoffs for the first time in about two decades. 

Morgan has developed team chemistry by returning almost all their starters from last year.  

A lot of those teams don’t think anyone is paying attention to them.
