Rockledge had a few injured players, but I'm still surprised they lost... not an excuse but Smith and Tennison are the real power of that team. Smith was injured in a very physical Cocoa-Rockledge rival game last week. Not sure if he played or was 100%. But more than a few players for both teams were in pain at the end the game. Cocoa drops a pass in the endzone on 4th down for the tie with 25 seconds left. That's how close the game was. Rockledge losing was unexpected. If they over looked Chamberlain then they deserve to lose. Would be interested in seeing the stats of that game. My 2 cents... Brevard has some great athletes. Never think they are an easy win. 2 out of 5 from Brevard still in. Lets see how Holy Trinity and Cocoa do next week. Out are Viera, Eau Gallie, and Rockledge.

I know you put in the research. Maybe just shy of what a homer for a given team will do, but in all fairness you have a lot of teams to research over just a few. I think you do a fine job at ranking teams and I also know from experiance that it can be a big undertaking just to get a top 25... Keep up the good work.

I believe Cocoa ran the single and double wing on Jones most of the times they played. Cocoa seems to have had their way when running it against Jones. If Apopka is decent with the wing and has the defense to stop Jones, I see them winning. The wing requires a capable RB and O-line to be successful. Gonna find out just how good Jones is this weekend. Best team I've seen defending against the Wing was Booker T Miami 2011-2012-2013. They had the speed on defense to close holes real fast and cover the screen.

1A - 4A Only play 4 playoff games. Cutting it to 8 teams in the playoffs would result in 1 less playoff game. Not going to happen. Remember that the FHSAA get a lot of that gate money in the playoffs.
